Nice quiet restaurant, you can actually have a conversation here! The Vietnamese food is excellent and the service is also very good. This is the best chicken Pho I've had in the area. Will definately come back.

We usually have to have the Honey Walnut Shrimp, which is always good and sometimes is astoundingly good. Other favorites are the Hot and Sour Soupâexcellent, Imperial (seafood) soup, and the Lettuce Wrap. And there are numerous other attractive options. The restaurant itself has an appealing Chinese-style foyer, then you enter into 2 large dining rooms with extremely high ceilings, all decorated with dozens of rolls of brownish floral wallpaper. It seems like a crazy choice for decor and I teeter between hating the wallpaper and finding it endearingly cozy: Hard to decide, but theyâve got a lot of money tied up in that wallpaper. Meanwhile, the service is reasonably fast, very pleasant, and the food ranges between good and excellent. Best of all, if you live locally and theyâre not particularly busy, theyâll deliver and they always come sooner than their prediction.
I stumbled on ChiKos and loved it, extremely innovative food made with high quality ingredients and served up by super enthusiastic fun people. What a nice change from the tired old crappy food concepts that seem to be flooding Encinitas. And too bad for the guy who complained about not enough vegetarian dishes, itâs not a vegetarian restraunt, itâs Chinese Korean - how about googling the menu instead of complaining and giving a bad review! And boo hoo for the whiner that dropped in with 15 people and had to wait - let me drop into your house and see how long it takes to whip up a meal. These mediocre whiney reviews are not fair. I loved ChiKo so much I went back and the second time was even better than the first. The chicken was fantastic, the lamb is amazing, the egg rolls are delicious and fun. The pot stickers are great. Yummmm! Itâs making me hungry and want to go back again just writing this review! And NO! I donât have anything to do with this place. I am just a fan!
