Our first time eating here, save take-out once a few months ago. Very impressive menu and menu selections. Wait staff is attentive, portions very generous, service is good and food quite tasty. It is surprising to experience the calm atmosphere since you are close to the highway and in a shopping strip, but it is a very nice place.

Just checked into hotel. The restaurant closed at 230. They seated us at 230.Food was fresh, hot and cooked as it should be.Excellent soup. Fried was hot. Veggies cooked perfect. The only reason I gave 4 star is because restaurant is kinda unkempt. Its probably clean but really worn out. Not a strip mall expected better restaurant.

I recently revisited O Mandarin for lunch with my son and was quite impressed. The Pork, Shrimp, and Leek pot stickers were some of the best I've tasted and the Twice Cooked Beef was very good as well. The off note was the Dan Dan noodles which were oddly tasteless, surprisingly unspiced (particularly given the heat in the Twice Cooked Beef), and made with vermicelli instead of more traditional toothy egg noodles. The decor is way above what is usually found in Chinese restaurants north of the Spuyten Duyvil and the service excellent. In short, O Mandarin is one of the two Westchester Chinese restaurants we've found worth eating in. Which isn't to say that it is as good as those in Manhattan much less SF or LA. But quite tasty nonetheless.
