The photo of the restaurant is slightly misleading as the restaurant fronts onto Edam's bus station and the main road to Amsterdam. Not exactly a haven of tranquillity in this the most restful of villages.The staff are exceedingly charming and the decor is pleasant enough but the food is really rather mediocre I'm afraid. Unfortunately it is the only chinese restaurant in the immediate vicinity but we won't be eating there again.

Wok restaurant serves great food. The buffet selection is wide and there is something for everyone. We had dinner there and unlike most buffets where one dish is nice and the other isn't so good, Wok is consistent. Everything we all had was very good. We were a family of 3 adults and 4 children, and the feedback was the same... great food. I am not sure how much it is per head, but for all 7 of us, including 2 drinks each, our total bill was EUR134. The staff were attentive and friendly. The restaurant has a playroom for the kids, where they can play and watch television, in between or after their meal, which was quite handy for our group.

The friendly host welcomed us and brought us to a nice table. We looked at the streetfood options which looked appealing. We settled for a great main which tasted authentic and far far beyond the standard chinese restaurants. You will love the experience, visit the place and enjoy

We found this restaurant on the way home. It has big room inside. The vegetarian food is oke, it could be better. I'm sure it's a good restaurant as we saw a lot of people were coming to order and take it home
