We've been going to TSJ's since they open their first location in Antioch. My oldest son had his wedding reception there, we've had many family dinners as well as client lunches at that location. What I most admire about the restaurant is that they cooked a number of dishes without corn starch or sugar. They modified about five dishes that they now call Janets tow food Janets a plant Janets string beans etc. they are the best Chinese restaurant around. The food is always hot fresh and will cooked and if it's not, they will take it off the menu. My grandchildren have been accompanying us and stay all have been babies. And we missed the local one that closed a couple of years ago but come down to this location when I am Jones-in for the best Chinese food around.

We visit Brentwood pretty often and we eat out all the time. One of our favorite places is Mikado because they have such a variety of choices. Within the Japanese/Chinese cuisine, they have everything and their sushi is great. They always have very friendly servers who are attentive, no matter how busy they are.

finally, we found the right mexican place; food was good; price is very affordable; service was good; although one time when my husband had a togo, they made a mistake of putting only one order instead of two orders----they should improve their togo system so it won't happen again because we live like 3 miles away from this resto.-------the location is in a nice place but the resto itself is very small.

I don't often go to Chinese places but my family wanted to go. They had ordered take out from here and said that it was good. Apparently, dining in and take out are two completely different experiences. The menu is huge, but a bit misleading. Saying the lunch selections come with appetizer, soup and salad. Great, but you don't get to pick them. Our food took forever, then they brought out everyones food except my wifes sushi roll. We all finished eating before she got her food. The waitress put her sleeve into my food and my food and my daughters plate when reaching for glasses to refill drinks. The spicy tuna roll my wife waited forever for....wasn't even palatable.

This is a family operation, with the husband being the chef and the wife the waitress. Lunch is a real bargain, with soup, fried won ton, steamed or fried rice and an egg roll accompanying each entree. Prices are very reasonable and grace is friendly and helpful. plenty of parking. good for dinner too except lunch is not served on Sunday.

Under new management. Ate dinner there few weeks back. Food was presented well but seemed to lack the flavor from before. Could have been an off day. Deserves a second chance. Previous owners were great. Hard not to compare against their cooking.

If any of you remember Lucy's or like Mikado's, it's right up there. The atmosphere doesn't look that fancy, but don't let that fool you. The food is great. I love everything including their fried rice and any of the noodle dishes. They give pretty good size portions and the service is very good. They also serve sushi and some Japanese dishes, so it's a great pick for a Brentwood Asian restaurant.
