Neighborhood dining. Food always hot and plentiful. Lots of choices, very reasonable prices. Great 'Chinese' food in NW Houston area. Meals are huge- we always bring home extras for another meal. Chicken dishes are very tender, packed with flavor. I see lots of take out meals. Dining-in provides warmth and clean surroundings, if you're looking for entertainment and fancy wait staff look elsewhere.

So far, have only experienced delivery, but it has been perfect both times recently. Fast, Friendly, and tasty. The lettuce wraps are absolutely delicious. They also have the best, most generous Crab Cheese Puffs ever. We won't order from anyone else when in this part of town.

Good foodReasonably priced Has lunch menu Small nice and quiet place Could use some updating, especially the tables. Finish has worn off and doesn't give a good first impression. My mother Inlaw was a little hesitant, but was impressed with the device and food taste

Our son had to be at CyRanch at 6pm and we didn't need to be there until 7pm, so we dropped him off then headed to North Harbor Bistro for a quick bite. They start you off with complimentary fried noodles with dipping sauce which is a nice touch. We ordered the Summer Soft Rolls ($5.50, non fried), Pan Fried Pork Dumplings ($6.50), and 1 drink for $2.25. Total was $18 including 20% tip. The dumplings were good but not a version I would necessarily crave, although my husband rated them a 4/5. The summer rolls were also good but I would have preferred more vegetables in them (versus just the soft noodles and shrimp inside). I was really glad to see peanut sauce served as the dip (as that is what I use when I make them at home), but I would have liked Hoisin sauce for more flavor. However when I asked the server if they had Hoisin sauce so I could add it, she did not know what that was. Other than that minor item, the service was fast and excellent. I think we were in and out in less than 30 minutes.

After seeing recommendations for De Dao on Facebook and reviewing their online reviews, my husband and I decided to give them a try (Saturday, 7:30pm, dine-in). We ordered Pan-Fried Pork Buns (6 for $6.95), Pork Potstickers (6 for $5.95), and Mashed Cucumber Salad ($3.25 - contains celery & bell pepper as well). We split everything and since neither of us were super hungry, it was plenty and I ended up taking the cucumber salad home. Since their fountain only served Pepsi products, we appreciated the canned Cokes for $1.25 (although wish they would also have had canned Diet Coke). All of our food items were good (favorite was probably the potstickers) and we agreed we would order them all again ... but first we want to try the Hunan Signature Mi-Fen, ribs, beef shank, wings, De Dao Mini Donuts, and Fried Sweet Mini Mantou - which all sound delicious. They also have a drive through (with the option to order online at their website) and free delivery for orders of $20 within 5 miles. If you get an order of 10 (or 20, 40 which are family sized), it is cheaper per piece. They also have a combo, where you can pick 3 items (one from each section of the ABC menu) for $12.95.
