Sakura Buffet is a nice change of pace from the usual Asian buffet places. Unlike them, this restaurant is super clean, freshly decorated, has a pleasing ambiance, and attentive service. The food is kept fresh, and hot or cold as appropriate. All of this said, I still found myself wanting after my first trip through the buffet. Yes, there was the usual assortment of X and broccoli dishes, fried this and that, noodles, four soups, an assortment of desserts, and a salad bar and Mongolian BBQ line as nice extras. But I enjoy spicy Asian food and there wasn't anything hotter than a bell pepper to be found! No hot chili peppers, no jalapenos for the Mongolian BBQ, and only one hot sauce - Sriracha - to be found. I'd really liked to have found a Kung Pao or other spicy dish. All in all it's a nice place. If only the food were as imaginative as the decor...but at $17 for the buffet, tea, and tip, it's a bargain.

The front desk clerk at my hotel recommended Hunan King for take-out Chinese good. I drove over there and found the place in a non-descript shopping center next to Goodwill. Entering the restaurant, I found a place devoid of atmosphere, with aged and non-lighted menu boards, supplies stacked all over the place, and questionable cleanliness in the food prep area. The food, however, was a different story. My small order of wonton soup was an ample serving, and very tasty. The Kong Po chicken was perfectly prepared, with lots of veggies and chicken, nicely seasoned, spicy, and served hot.Two issues â they donât take American Express, and they donât offer brown rice. But, for a $13.93 take-out dinner for my hotel room, it was more than adequate.Enjoy the food â just donât plan to dine there!

Our family eats here often. They know their customers by name... It's a very pleasant atmosphere--much like Chinatown in NYC. The food is excellent!
