Had dinner here last night a return visit after many years. The appearance of the restaurant has changed drastically, and for the better, following the fire and complete rebuild, itâs now a bright modern space that really shows off the Chinese heritage. The food was, to put it simply, superb; the menu is extensive and though we made different selections ( sizzling Cantonese Steak, Duck in Black Bean Sauce, crispy chicken with bean Sprouts and Vermicelli Noodles Singapore Style) what we had was consistently delicious. This is probably the best Chinese meal Iâve ever had. Itâs nice to see the restaurant works in harmony with Dressers and itâs possible to order drinks from the pub bar to be served in the restaurant. The staff here are friendly and efficient and really help create the great atmosphere - we will certainly return and we fully recommend the restaurant

I wondered why the place was always empty so gave it a try. I should have gone to spec savers. Bland food, Atmosphere dead, no wonder the place is empty all week. will not be going again... waiter was really smug.You are to late for your false reviews Ivor T, or should we say John Dawkins.The reason we have closed is because the landlord has taken 5 years to not repair the building which is now not fit for purpose.As our loyal customers know all our food was prepared fresh on the premises hence our fantastic list of repeat customers.Time to find another establishment to whinge about John.

Gave this place 5 stars before (March).This visit was a surprise as to how poor the food was this time around.Lemon chicken, weird sauce, little taste.Crispy beef in Cantonese sauce, hardly any âmeatâSalt & pepper spare ribs, seemed to have a batter in them....odd!Hopefully just an one night!

This is a takeaway that actually does make Chinese style food. So many of the takeaways seem to be obsessed with adding bucketloads of chilies to their dishes.Loy Key is authentic (ish) and good every visit.

The best Chinese take away in Chorley and also one of the best Chippy's!Polite staff, friendly efficient service and well cooked fresh food.We struggle to find anything as good locally when this is closed due to holidays!
