What a fantastic find this place is. We were driving out of Chickmanglur at 8am and looking for a suitable breakfast place on the way. Trip Advisor showed places that were out of the route. It was luck that we spotted this restaurant on the main MG Road. We were ushered into the service hall that was all the way inside past the kitchens. You can also grab a quick bite or coffee standing at the entrance counter. We preferred to sit down inside and are we glad we did. The interiors are that of an old house circa 1900. Broad wooden beams, terracotta tiles on the roof, red oxide flooring and simple wooden furniture. The food is Mysore specialities. We had soft fluffy idilis, vadas, crisp dosas all accompanied by mouth watering chutneys and sambhar. Also tried the khara and kesari bath. Both were delicious. The kesari bath was filled with chunks of pineapple. Coffee was also just right amounts of decoction and milk. One of the tastiest meals I've had in a while.
