The Hot and Spicy chicken was under seasoned, lacking any complexity of flavor. The lemon chicken was cloyingly sweet and inedible after two or three bites; just gelatinous and thick, the fried rice was white rice with soy sauce and the meat in the Beef with Broccoli was really tough. Nothing had any developed or layered flavors unfortunately. The food did arrive quickly but the bill was really high compared to Eddie Cheng, particularly for food we couldn't eat. Also, they serve no pork dishes and since those tend to be my husband's favorite we will probably go back to ordering from Eddie Cheng even though their service is awful. Too bad, we really wanted to love you, you're close to our house and we want to find a new place.

Good American Chinese takeout is not as easy to find in Burnsville, Minnesota as everyone might think. Bwahahaha...just kidding, obvi!! It's Burnsville, MN.We have ordered from these guys a good deal; largely because it's our only choice, they deliver, and it's almost always right. The lemon chicken and beef lo mein are okay and so is the cashew chicken; the kung pao not so much. The orange beef and orange chicken have a very artificial flavor and the sweet and sour chicken and pork are both only okay. The chow mein is decent but the chow mein noodles are always, always stale.Their prices are reasonable enough but the last few times it has taken over an hour and a half and they lie the whole time telling you it is on its way.Oh also...hot and sour soup is a "yes", the wonton soup is a hard "no". Two big, swollen, bulbous, mushy wontons per bowl filled who who knows what. Terrifying!

We recently held a family gathering at the Canton, and we could not have been happier with the service and food. We pre-ordered, but only said how many people we would be hosting -- we did not specify the dishes we wanted. These good folks went out of their way to serve things only my dear departed Pau-Pau has made for me. In fact, I packed a large ZipLock baggie full of these treats and took it with me back to Washington DC. If you are a Cantonese cuisine purist, this is a wonderful place to eat. If your taste for Chinese food was developed at PF Chang's or Panda Express, you will not find a comparison here. The Canton is small and family-run, and these kind-hearted people work very, very hard to please. Any trip to the Twin Cities for me will definitely include a stop at the Canton.

The service and quality of food here is pretty good, especially if you like roast duck and BBQ pork that is fresh and tasty. We also had tofu with cabbage, sweet sour chicken, fried rice, Chinese broccoli, beef lowmein, which all were tasty. Being from out of state, this place was not an easy place to find. Must be a hidden gem.

Incredible flavor and even better service! I tihnk if you want authentic Asian flavoring, this is the place to go! The owners are Tibetan and their culture is blended in with every dish. The afternoon lunch buffet is simply amazing! for dinner there isn't anything on the menu that will dissappoint. The best thing to do is ask questions for the first time. I had a dish that sounded interesting but it didn;t make any sense. The server was most helpful and the food beyond compare. i don't normally give five-stars to any restaurant but this one definately deserve five or more stars.

The lunch menu seemed to be more of a Chinese/American restaurant. Lomeins, curries, sweet and sours, ginger dishes, and chow mein. Not really near what I found in Viet Nam 18 months ago. Service was fine, the place was clean and comfortable as one would expect, but it lacked any feel or flavor of Viet Nam. The lunch menu offers a broad selection of the above dishes with chicken, pork, tofu, beef, and mock duck -- 1 appetizer selection (egg roll, chicken wings, or wontons), 1 entree, white or fried rice, and a Sugar Roll. When I asked about the Sugar Roll I was simply told "We don't have those."
