Very nice little cafe near several starred hotels on the Sudirman St. corridor. Clean, AC, and inexpensive. Mostly Chinese, but some Thai and Singaporean foods, too.

This is just down the road from the Sintesa and the Aston. Don't beput off by the entrance. It's above the Fiesta mini mart and you climb the stairs by the entrance to the second floor. The food it Chinese /Indonesian and service is quick. There is a good menu and the rod is amazing value for money. We had the duck and the calamari and both were very good and with two veg plated and rice cost less than £7. Well worth a try.

The porridge is worthy to die for! I can eat that for three times a day and still don't get bored of it. That's how delicious their porridge is.

I have been to the Living Room restaurant many times for both lunch and dinner, it is located in S Loft Manado and is open to public. What I love about the restaurant are:1. Yummy food, you get international fusion cuisine which is not offered anywhere else in Manado but they do have the common Indonesian food so everyone gets to eat what they want. I have tried almost everything that looks interesting to me on the menu. Those I would recommend are:- Pumpkin soup: this is just so good and creamy, a really good starter to a meal. My cousin is vegan, so she asked for no cream/milk and it was still delicious.- Cakalang sushi: sushi but with Manado special smoked cakalang skipjack tuna- Papaya salad: it's kinda like Thai style papaya salad but with a tanginess that is really good. I asked mine to be less spicy than usual.- Tinutuan salad: tinutuan is a local breakfast dish, aka bubur manado, but this is a salad version so you get the different veges and smoked skipjack tuna plus the salad dressing in tinutuan style. This is a MUST TRY!- Butter chicken roulade: This is a full meal on its own. There are chicken chunks on top of butter rice. The best part is the chicken chunks has cheese and green salad in it so it's really really REALLY GOOD! you can tell that there is a lot of effort in creating the dish. ABSOLUTELY MUST TRY!- Burgers: they have chicken and beef. Ive been told that they are made fresh in house and it's super yummy compared to the frozen ones u get at fast food chains. I esp love the chicken coz they use rica rica (local Manado style) dressing.- Volcano curry: vermicelli at which you drizzle the curry sauce and watch the noodle shrivel and reduce in size, it's quite a spectacle. - Club sandwich: this was for sharing if we're not too hungry. They have the full works: egg, beef ham, veg, mayo, etc. Very hearty. 2. Ambience is cozy and the decor is beautiful, super instagrammable! Plus an open kitchen! Where else in Manado, do u get to see that.3. On some weekend nights, they have a singer to serenade guests which is nice.I would highly recommend to come here to dine especially if you're bored of Manado food and would like to try something new.

If you want to eat with the cheap price and have manado taste, you can choose to eat in Talaga Resto. Talaga Resto has strategic location, near from Sam Ratulangi Airport, so if you hungry before your plane take off, you can eat in Talaga Resto. You will get beautiful place with the fish pool view. So, you can see many kind the fish swimming. Clean environment and full facilities. Talaga Resto has many kind menu about fish, like Mujair Bakar Rica and Ikan Mas Goreng Garing. In there you can choose fresh fish by yourself. it also give many kind discount. It's so cozy if you come with family.
