While seeking a Chinese restaurant in the Bloomsburg area, we asked several people, i.e., hotel clerk, police, etc. for recommendations. The China Queen was at the top of the list. Upon ordering a takeout meal, the "Queen" certainly did deliver ! Excellent food, no disappointment !

It's a buffet. Nothing else can be said. The food is sometimes good and sometimes not. Cleanliness isn't too high on their list. Servers are awful. I understand there is a language barrier but there are some simple phrases and techniques that could be taught so as to not seem so rude or in a hurry. I've been here a bunch of times and it is what it is but this was the fi4st time I was here near closing time. They just cannot wait for you to leave and they make u feel it. The servers will stare at you and clear ur table and when the check was brought she stood there and waited for it. Then when it came back to be signed she stood and waited right there, nearly ripping the pen and check out of my hand before I was finished signing. At EXACTLY closing time, every staff member came out and cleared the whole buffet and began mopping floors before we even left our table. Good thing we were done eating. Sheesh. We had a friend doing business in the bathroom at this time too and we were informed a few minutes later outside that while he was in there someone came in mopping and hurrying him along. All in all....food is fine but service is terrible. Take it or leave it.

Doug was, frankly, desperate, due to various illnesses among family members, and decided on a what-can-I-lose run by this college-town hole-in-the-wall... well under $10 brought a delicious takeout combo of chicken, vegetables, fine white rice and an egg roll, but what was most impressive was the surgical tidiness of the place and friendly, knowledgeable attitude of the staff and the woman we presume as an owner... recently moved, we hear from a few blocks away, making parking a bit of a challenge, but well worth the effort... we live far from here, will make it a must on return
