I have visited Yau’s on and off for years and got a takeaway on 2 July and it was terrible. Everything we ordered was bland and tasteless. The beef in black bean with chilli had no chilli taste. So bad I didn’t finish eating it. Will not be returning.

Since Tony left From Yao’s in unexplained circumstances by chance we ordered from the Dragon Inn (DI) and were not disappointed. Apart from the ridiculous over ordering from our lady host the food was exceptional. Crispy moist duck, perfectly cooked rice and noodles as well as a quality curry sauce (chilli hot).. Now the DI have introduced a delivery service (free) it’s perfect for getting hammered and not worrying and arguing who is going to collect the food or who is most capable at the time. Will reach another level when website and online ordering is introduced with PayPal to be truly Omni channel.

I don't have takeaways very often so when I do I make sure it's a good one. Having checked out reviews on TA Ho Ho sounded the best by far...and I wasn't disappointed! I decided to go down and order rather than phone get delivery and I'm glad I did, this place was CRAZY busy, phones off the hook and I have to say the girls taking the orders were doing a great job managing the phones as well as the constant walk-ins. Went for our usual go to dishes, sweet and sour chicken Hong Kong style, boiled rice, vegetable Singapore Rice noodles, all of which were REALLY good! Great portion size and tastes amazing. I also tried szechuan lamb, but I didn't enjoy it quite as much as the rest. I will definitely be using Ho Ho again and would definitely recommend to friends / family.

May's Kitchen . is a Chinese takeaway in Billericay Essex ,They serve good food but unfortuanately the kitchen staff seem to be making more mistakes with their orders, eg wrong food or items missing from order , sometimes the order to be delivered seems to take the longest route to arrive , recently we had a regular driver but he had been given the wrong address, and then to top that part of our order was totally wrong , so we had to call again to get this corrected which of course meant that our meal was somewhat spoiled by the fact that only half had arrived , that was about 10 days ago , and yesterday evening we had family visit ,our order was placed and we were told about 45 minutes however 1 hour and 10 minutes later we had to phone again and were told it was on the way ,the food was received and on checking the order 2 items were missing. another call was made they agreed to send out the rest of the food and the man taking the orders apologised ,However this was NOT his fault, again it was the kitchen staff, WE would suggest that they { the staff at Mays' Kitchen ) check all orders whether placed over the counter or telephone orders , when the food is all correct it is very good and tasty , but we just hope that they start getting things correct as there is nothing worse than expecting a nice meal to have it spoilt by incompetent people
