We had no reservation and couldnt believe our luck when we turned up at China Lane, they found a table for us and before we knew it we were elbow deep in delicious food. Surprisingly generous servings and great service made for a terrific dinner. The whiting in a barely there tempura batter was out of this world! Asian greens, to die for.Good value, polite and engaged service, delicious meal.

At Dumpling Bar the service is professional and familiar, being a local favourite. We look forward to welcoming you to experience our original restaurant.
Food is much better than good..bad customer service though ...arrogant attitude from waitress/co-owner(maybe)? .plenty of rooms for improvement in reducing their ego .. also was charged $3.00 per head X 6 persons for cakage but was provided with a worn out meat cleaver for cutting the cake!?Hi Eric and thanks for your honest review - so glad you enjoyed the food! Of course, we were very unhappy to see the remarks on the customer service; I can assure you this was not Karen's intended demeanour to be portrayed. I apologise if this is how it came across. We've since purchased a shiny new cake knife too! I must admit, I'm embarassed about the meat clever - occasionally things go missing and I apologise your cake had to be the one to suffer. When you next book, please do so directly through me on [email protected] so that I can ensure you're looked after. What you experienced that day was atypical and we truly value your honest feedback so that we can continually improve. Kind Regards,Patrick Ryan

Lotus Barangaroo offers a unique and evolving urban experience right on the edge of the harbour. Our menu is seafood focused, showing respect for the traditional owners of the land at Barangaroo.
A bit of a walk from Darling Harbour to the end of Barangaroo but worth it. The service was fast, efficient and super friendly. The menu is interesting and the food was just delightful. I had Singapore soft shell crab and aged duck with a plum and orange sauce and rice. Delightful. Together with drinks it was 100AUD. So good I went back again the next day.Hi Godfrey, thank you for reviewing Lotus Barangaroo. We're thrilled to read that you thoroughly enjoyed your recent dining experiences. I am pleased to read that you enjoyed our innovative food and beverage offerings. We hope to welcome you back again soon. Kind regards, Corey.

Layered with timeless colonial furnishings including timber floors with tiled inlay, bamboo framed French woven chairs and slow turning ceiling fans, Mr. Wong pays homage to classic Chinese influences in a contemporary style. The Cantonese-style menu feat
We tried to get in here a night before but (as you cant book unless more than 6) we left our arrival too late and were told no tables until 9.15.So last night we arrived at 5pm as they opened. We got a table down stairs which we could have until 7.15. They must run 3 sittings 5pm, 7.15 and 9.15.The building is spectacular and loved the decor. Wait staff were excellent. We werent starving so asked for recommendation for 2 best dishes. We got dim sum and peaking duck pancakes. The dim sum were so delicate and delicious and duck lovely. We also found they could let us through to the bar next door Palmer and Co, fabulous!

food quality is not bad, but still some distance from authentic.service was attentive, seating was comfortable and cozy.Dear "dhui",Thanks for your review.Although we may not be totally like your Hong Kong style of food, we have adjusted our flavours to meet local tastes. This seems to work for us as we pride ourselves on fresh quality ingredients with menu items that are what you would expect in your local Sydney Chinese restaurant.Kind regards,Simon

Great TripAdviser recommendation, could not have been happier. Well worth high rating.Staff friendly and welcoming. Restaurant is located in an old church hall. Clever fit out has resulted in a well laid out space with plenty of atmosphere and good acoustics.Food was spot on. Cooked to order, clean, well defined flavours. We had tasting plate entree, excellent, and a chicken main with fried rice. A really enjoyable meal.Just visiting Sydney but will try go back.Highly recommended.
