We went to this lovely restaurant several times as it was so close to where we were staying. Good choice of food, tasty and reasonable price. Lovely sitting right by the river watching the occasional boat and barge go by. Fireworks going off in the distance added to a magical first night in Thailand.Cheery man singing and playing a guitar added to the atmosphere. They also do dinner on a boat that goes round the island and this looked pleasant although we did not do it. Service slightly variable but a delightful waitress even if we could not communicate with her very well. Thoroughly recommend this restaurant.

The restaurant was a legend of the roadside fast food where there many land travelers were popular. The view of their effort to keep up with The changing market, the restaurant is still survive. The meals are tasty, clean and well prepared. The prices are more expensive but still worth to come due to fast service, clean and prompt.

Gu Cheung Restaurant is located within the Krungsri River Ayutthaya Hotel.... very nice buffet of both Thai and Chinese food, large clean and well organized dining room located beside the river. The river prawn are a culinary delight and the service here is attentive and sharp. Enjoyable visit.
