Asian food we tried in recent memory. Agree with reviews of that sizzling rice soup~so special. The crispy noodles with veg. and calamari is sensational as was the Szechuan beef! Can't wait to try more! Going back soon.Service and prices are spot on.

We stumbled upon this restaurant because we heard it was very healthy. It was very healthy and it has a variety of good choices. The rice bowls are the best and we added more vegetables to our order. It's a takeout or dine in an outside covered patio. So, if you want to get something quick, this would be a good place to go.

Unhealthy kitchen procedures. NOONE washes their hands here... after handling money, wiping a runny nose, using a sleeve to wipe a nose, brushing counters with bare hands, nothing. After the son wiped his nose with his bare hand, I suggested he wash his hands before plating orders. He walked to the side, wet his hands and went about putting food into a container. I canceled my order immediately. And have reported them to the Health Department.
I used to like this place years back when it was in Soquel Village, but tried it twice and last time is the last for me. The food has little or a strange unappealing flavor. It's one of those things that I realized because the after taste so so awful. I ordered Schezwan chicken (spelled wrong) which was something I've order before. It comes with a hot and sour soup that used to be delicious. Everything seemed watered down. The entree was supposed to have water chestnuts, but did not. There were things that looked like little noodles and I realized it was chicken. I kept adding soy sauce, but at some point thought I should stop. Really, I don't know if it actually was soy sauce because the flavor wasn't noticeable. The service was fine although it's hard to believe that people can work and live here and speak almost no English so there was a little problem ordering. Also, the door was wide open which was a problem because the traffic was really noisy.Too bad this restaurant has become so terrible. I gave poor instead of terrible in the ratings because the service was okay and it was decorated nicely.
