Out of the local Chinese venues in Alvin this one is our favorite so far. After a few times of dining here I decided to write a review. The food is good however it isn't a knock your socks off kind of Chinese. Dishes are a bit more of the traditional Americanized Chinese food with a profile not as robust as something you would get closer to authentic. I do like their egg rolls since they use the dough that is a touch on the sweet side. Chicken and Beef were good, but seemed to be the typical fast food Chinese quality. Overall the service is good, but if they are very busy it can be a bit slow. I'm not sure if this was just coincidence but one waiter for 8-10 tables isn't effective.Overall it's a good local place to eat and the pricing is okay.
China Buffet - eat all you want - the oysters are fabulous as is all their seafood dishes. Their desserts are so inviting as well. You need a big fill - then heres the place to go - you will enjoy. Prices are economical whether there's one of you or a hoard!

This restaurant has changed management, and is now a fast food type of establishment instead of a sit down order off the menu type. My husband and I went in after they reopened and were extremely disappointed. None of our favorite dishes were being offered, and to my shock, they did not even have Sweet and sour pork. Seriously ??? A Chinese restaurant that doesn't have Sweet & Sour pork ???We just decided to leave, and at least half a dozen other people left at the same time, stating they would not be coming back either.
