Wong Kok, located in a strip mall besides a grocery, offers good tasting food, wide ranging menu choice and reasonable price. My expectations are usually not very high for nondescript ethnic restaurants located in hard to find corners (unless you belong to the neighborhood), but Wong Kok is an exception. I had a lunch order for a shrimp dish, which had huge portions of rice, veggies and quite a few of jumbo shrimps, enough for two. Surprisingly, food was not greasy, salty nor of any strong uncomforting flavor. It did not trigger a heavy feeling either. Egg rolls are jumbo and tasty. Staff was not very attentive but thats ok as I only went for a pick up. Otherwise I would have awarded them a five.

Ideally, I would have been able to give this a 3.5 rating. Essentially, we had a pleasant meal with good food and service. Nothing was bad, but nothing stood out as exceptional either. Giving it a 3 would be a bit harsh since we both enjoyed all aspects of the meal, but that doesn't make it "Very Good" either. All of that stated, we would certainly go back for another meal without hesitation.

we had just gotten to the area and looking for a late dinner. Not many people around, but several taking carry out...So, we stopped in to Yen's Cafe. We were greeted warmly, and seated immediately. The owners were very cordial, the restaurant very clean, and service was as attentive and good as the food! Each dish was simple, sesame chicken, spring rolls, wanton soup, and all very very good! It was a wonderful end to a long travel day, to enjoy a quiet meal, and savor the flavors of home cooked Chinese food! Yen's Cafe was was a Lucky 7 for Us!!

We're new to Ashburn and have tried 3 Chinese places to date. This is the best, behind that is ChinChin cafe and "Do Not Repeat" Yen's Cafe. This is our 2nd meal, both by delivery, very quick delivery. Tonight "Ginger Chicken"--repeatable, light, some pique of ginger, nice, "Wok Sauteed Filet Mignon in Magic Sauce"--nice, flavorful, repeatable but not worth the $ though. Also, Egg Rolls--meh, WonTon soup--good flavors, thin skin. Fried WonTons--good, not great. We'll return and keep trying different dishes.

Cafe Opera had absolutely delicious food, with a very large variety. My favorite dishes are Kung Pao chicken and General Tso's chicken. The steamed dumplings are amazing! The service is wonderful, and every server is kind and very responsive! The atmosphere is nice and also relaxing. I cannot wait to return!

What restaurant doesn't accept American Express? Anyway, not sure what happened here but wow was our giant take out order awful and skimpy. Worst low mein I have ever had. Sesame chicken was just wretched. Place was empty too. Something must have changed here as had not been that bad in the past.
