Le Bistro Morisyen is a family business which provides food of quality at affordable prices in a cosy and unique setting. We are located on the Coastal road of Flic en Flac after Clinique de L'Occident and beside the bakery.

My friends had been here a few times and loved this place and the food, so I went with them, we all had the burgers and there are excellent!, served with fries and salad. The family who own the bistro are really sweet and friendly.

Chinese food is very good, but it is a small restaurant with a minimum service. It is the traditional Chinese restaurant that is down the road, and cannot expect much service. Would recommend for take away . Cleanliness is not optimal either, and the waiters are not trained for this job. Would recommend for take away or a quick bite. Price is on the high side though .

The Appache atmosphere is unique , well decorated and peaceful .The staff gives you a prompt and warm service and really makes you feel at home .You can find a huge variety of food which we no longer have time to cook at home.

Totally surprised with the quality of food because all the food dishes were prepared so well & as per real food standards. Vegetarian Teokon hotpot was simply healthy and delicious or I can say one of the best vegetable hotpot available in Mauritius. Soup was up-to the mark, noodles and mushroom tempura was tasty. The owner of the restaurant was also working in the restaurant by taking great pride to ensure everything upfront is managed well. Nepali waiter was entertaining. After longtime I had the opportunity to experience something like this especially in Mauritius. Well Done Royal Choice... will visit again or may be during my next visit to Mauritius. All the best

Currently staying at sugar beach hotel and have had the pleasure of dining here on two occasions. The food was excellent and well presented . The staff and service were faultless professional .....but still were able to share a sense of humour. A must try , we will be trying to rebook for our 3rd visit of our stay !! Well done to al of the staff a credit to the restaurant .

On the way back from the beach walked passed Le Marmite Mauricienne.Decided to book a table for later on that evening. This place had been recommended to us by some friends, so we were keen to sample the menu. We were greeted by very friendly staff. From the outside the place is not posh or ostentatious, it looks and feels very authentic, no airs and graces here-which is kind of what we want on holiday. The menu was very extensive, so much so that the waiter offered us advice. There is a European option which looked and sounded great but it was the real Mauritian cuisine that we were after. We were not disappointed. Portions were huge and tasted great. I'm not one for hot food, my husband is and he was given extra piment hot sauce with his dish.Our daughter was more than content with her chicken burger, fries and salad.My fruit de mer with fried rice was amazing and very filling.We did have to walk the dinner off as we were all so full and had to take a doggy bag. Were also given extra hot sauce to take home. All in all a very pleasant place. Sat on the decked gazebo. This huge and clean restaurant is an amazing setting for an evening dinner under the lights. The food we had was excellent. A lovely evening with good service.

Average, too quiet, and mossy not good - bitten to death !Wasn't as 'glamorous' as some of the photos on here alude and was very quiet.The garden was bit too dark.... as for the mosquitos !!!

Went there with my wife and enhoyed a very nice welcome from the french couple running this place. The menu was great witha good mix of mauritian and french dishes. Only word of warning though is that you should avoid going there at a time when the Zumba class next door is going. You'll hardly hear each other talk! But at other times, it can provide a perfect venue for a nice romantic meal.
