Things to do in Pisco Elqui
We ordered grilled goat and beaf, it was very good. The terrace was open and very nice. The service was fast and good. The menu choices are not too big, it is not an elegant neither sophisticated restaurant, but it is a good alternative.

The food here is excellent! It is our new favorite restaurant in the Elqui Valley. The menu is very unique and has a lot of good Italian dishes that you would next expect to get in Pisco Elqui. There are many delicous seafood options that cannot be found elsewhere in Pisco. The pasta is homemade and the risotto is some of the best we have ever had. The service with Daniel was excellent and he was a pleasure to speak with. Between the amazing view, the cozy pleasant atmosphere and great food we would definitely recommend this restaurant and will be back with friends and family soon.

Having checked out almost every eatery in delightful (but busy) Pisco Elqui while exploring on foot from our apartment, we were hoping that Hacienda Miraflores would provide a special experience when we finally drove out of the village for a change of scenery. The setting is magnificent -- a world-class view from a mostly-covered open terrace. (You might need a hat at many of the tables.) The chairs are padded!!! The washrooms are first class. Service is very good. What a downer when the food was by far the worst we had been served in 9 days of restaurant meals in Chile. We asked for the reineta (sea bream, one of our favourites) to be poco cocida (rare), but a big slab of it came as tough and tasteless as canned tuna. We had been relieved to finally see some vegetables on the menu, but the asparagus that came with the fish was hopelessly-overcooked mush that must have come out of a can. We did not want to burden the excellent staff with complaints in our scant Spanish, and we did not decline to pay the optional propina (tip). We saved our wrath for this (for us) rare negative review on TripAdvisor. It's a lovely drive south for a short distance from Pisco Elqui, but it would be so much better if this physically-classy resto had a competent chef.

A Different-Healthy-Natural place in the heart of the Elqui Valley where you can enjoy an innovative dining experience, relax in our chill-out terrace and be seduced by the incredible views of the majestic mountains that surround us ... We wait!
Very nice atmosphere to have a chilly dinner. They serve good teas and jugos which are a bit a expensive but taste good! The maindishes are just perfect, especially the falafel, about clp 5k! The staff was very nice and they create a good vibe! There is wifi as well. Well done, thank you!

Thereâs open air seating as well as indoor. The staff are great.Straightforward menu with the usual empanadas for starters and about 10 choices of mains including salmon, beef, pork, lamb and chicken. Modest wine list.Food was competently produced and tasty.Nothing complicated. Simple kitchen on an evening out @60,000 pesos for two. No washing up!

Well, I have to say this was yet another recommendation on this holiday and again a good one. OK, it was a little rustic both inside and outside but that was part of the charm. We plumped for the latter given it was a warm evening. The outside was quite small but virtually all tables were full and there was the pleasant sound of people enjoying themselves. We had Pisco sours each while we looked at the menu before deciding on an Elqui salad each for starters, a main course of chicken for the wife and pork ribs for me, these with a bottle of local Syrah. Then came the only disappointment, everything arrived together but, hey, we coped. The Elqui salad consisted of lettuce, avocado, skinned tomatoes, goats milk cheese and dressing and was very good, albeit the portions were massive. We could easily have shared one between us and there would have still been plenty left!Likewise, the mains were also large! The chicken was stuffed with spinach and was served with rice while the pork ribs were served with salted potatoes (far too many). Both went down a real treat while the local Syrah proved to be a good accompaniment. So, another one which we enjoyed and one we would recommend.

I know this place from it was just a frying pan and three seats. The owner expanded last year and now you have a place to sit inside and also outside overlooking the patio. The empanadas are amazing here, with normal cheese or with the local goatcheese (definately choose goatcheese!). They are richly filled with ingredients, at the right temperature with lovely melted cheese. unfortunately in many places this is not the case with half melted cheese and empty empanadas.....but not in Pukara, one empanada and you are done! The decoration is eclectic, local, freaky, weird and makes no sense.....but that´s the charm of it I guess. The owner is a great guy, makes his own sauces and has ambition to grow even more......so support him and buy your next empanada in Elqui Valley at Pukara del Valle!
