A place to meet the flavors of the Chilean seafood. Family atmosphere directly by the sea. Wide wine list and menu carte in English.
This is probably one of the landmarks in the area when it comes to good quality sea food. Lots of tourists visiting the place. I went there, and I must agree, good service, ample variety but it lacks english menus! A big shortfall for a restaurant that wants to be âtheâ reference in Con Con area. Thanks for the time you invested writing your review. It is indeed a big shortfall and that's why we are working since some time ago to have a menu in English. We hope that when you visit us again we have already that menu. Thanks for your opinion that helps us a lot to improve as a restaurant.Greetings!

I came here recently with friends during a visit to Concon. They said that this place had the best empanadas I would ever eat. I am happy to say that, so far at least, they were not wrong. The prices are very reasonable (if memory serves correctly, between 1-2000 clp depending on what you get) and you get a properly filled empanada for your money. A lovely view of the pacific ocean and beach rounds the experience off nicely. Would eat here again if I return.

We tried some different seafood restaurants and this was the best. The food was amazing! Really fresh and the plates were huge.It can be crowded and I recommend doing a reservation to get one of the tables on the terrace. The view is great and the service was good too.Only the toilets were not too clean, but this is really the only thing that was not perfect. At the end the bill was even lower than we espected.Highly recommended!!

Nice restaurant and coffee-bar with several options of international foods with the taste of Brasil. Girafinha da Melancia offers a complete mix of lunch, coffee, dinner with complements like ice creams, desserts, juices and wine in one of the most beatif
A remodeled very lovely two story house on a corner provides the venue for Max and Lucia, the proprietors. Max is Chilean and Lucia is a carioca. There were several Brazilians working there. The Risotto al Mixto was excellent. It was executed correctly in every way, the seafood was not overcooked, the rice was not sticky. The two main problems that can happen. All the flavors stood out. The desert menu is quite good though the torta de malucuya we were told by another customer was excellent but it was sold out. They have a full ice cream bar of San Francisco Brand. Which is excellent ice cream. The caipirinha was full of limes and ice and perfect from my taste. I had the entrecote which was fine, but nothing special. It was cooked correctly. The chilean beef is stronger tasting than american beef, as the animals move around more, so for a Gringo it is a bit like venison. Just a bit. The place was full on valentines day, so it was a bit hectic but the service was smooth, the chaos comic and never a stress showed. When the two owners argued over some order or another it was with humor and affection and for me added to the experience. They have a good solid espresso machine too, and a good drink selection. It's not a large place, probably seats 40 at most, so the drinks are an array of kunstman and i think austral beers. Thanks Alex, it is nice to receive your comments and it was very special to offer our service to you, your wife and all your nice friends. We know we have to improve our business in a lot of ways, but opinions like yours is the best indicator in order to feel that we are going in the right direction. We hope to receive you again in our home, please accept us as grateful friends in this little town in the south of the world.Hugs of Luzia and Max

Lovely location overlooking a quiet sandy bay just a short 5 minute drive on the coast going south from the hustle and bustle of ConCon. Backed by attractive terraced apartment complexes, the restaurant is right on the coast road. We were there for a late lunch on a Friday and shared the restaurant with about five other table groups so by no means crowded. Service was attentive and friendly and warm home made bread biscuits were delivered quickly. A group of three we shared two servings of fried empanadas stuffed with seafood and cheese. Being overlooking the Pacific Ocean we of course had fish to follow. One was a white fish-Reineta and another Salmon. Both were very fresh and tasty. House white wine was a good Sauvignon Blanc. In summary we will visit again as it meet our expectations for a tasty informal meal on the coast.

We so enjoy visiting restaurants which are in the TA top choices. Our Apartment rental was about a 10 minute walk away so we set off and arriving around 8:20pm found it closed,so much so,it looked as if it were closed awaiting next tourist season. We walked along the small path on the perimeter of the Av. Borgono to the Radisson and back hoping we were too early but alas still no change. Oh we'll perhaps next Visit. Pics I will upload from exterior from mobile.

Empanadas hechas por las manos de nuestros maestros, por mas de 50 años. 100% productos de calidad, seleccionamos cuidadosamente nuestras materias primas y proveedores. Tradición Familiar desde 1968.
We stopped in here after a morning of pelagic birding from Quintero harbor. The restaurant is a short drive away. We each had two empanadas, but unless you are hungry one might suffice. They were large and stuffed with delicious fillings. I preferred the shrimp and cheese, but other members of our group had a beef mixture and chicken. No one left any behind. You'll need lots of napkins to handle the fat that seeps thru the crust. That's probably why they tasted so good.

We were lucky to get a table without a reservation in the middle of the afternoon. Service was very good & our waiter was patient with our limited spanish. We enjoyed cerviche of salmon as a starter & one of us had delicious reineta and the other had grilled salmon topped with seafood. The hearts of palm & avocado was a good choice for a side dish. It was our final lunch before we depart Concon and this restaurant was an excellent choice.

Went as a family. We ordered the entraña-shrimp-fettuccini dish, grilled octopus and salmon ceviche. The first dish was regular, the meat was overcooked, the shrimp were tiny and the only real saviour was the fettuccini which was actually well cooked and prepared. The grilled octopus was terrible, it was hard and not chewable. The salmon ceviche was the better dish, nice portion. We also had two juices, the detox and mango, these were ok as well. A nice touch was the warm bread at the beginning, it was nice consistency and warm. Overall, just regular. Wonât go back.
