I went here last week on a work trip with several colleagues. We asked the hostess about a local drink which has Prosecco and a liqueur and sparkling water in it. She suggested her favorite drink, which she said was more refreshing. It was a mixture of prosecco and some grapefruit liqueur. It was delicious! Great recommendations also followed for food. On Thursdays, they have "small plates" where you can order 4, 6, 8 or 12 small portions of regular menu items. They're served in courses, and they are amazing! We each ordered 6 small plates and were happy with everything we tried. A few standouts were the the Bloody Mary Espuma with grilled prawns (which were actually very small shrimp, but it might have just been the translation) and a risotto with octopus and cashews. Really lovely place; excellent food, great service and a great vibe. Will definitely return next time I'm in town.

The place is really good!!! Hospitality, Taste and good looking dishes are the most important words linked to this restaurant. I really appreciate the way how the owner and his wife were taking care of us. You will be in a place where what is count is your experience with the food and the interactions with the restaurant. I completely endorse and suggest to eat there. Thank you for the nice eveningMassimiliano

We've been here a few times and have never been disappointed. A wide variety of choices, most dinners include a trip to a basic salad bar, the specials draw a local crowd. Going on a Friday night the special was their Schnitzel XXL - for a mere 9.99 EU, it included the salad bar, fries, choice of sauces and an absolutely huge serving of schnitzel. Other nights they have a kilo of prawns for similar value, unlimited ribs and hamburgers. Good, solid food - a nice beer garden setting outside and comfortable and cozy seating inside. It's a good choice for families as can be evidenced at any time. Definitely recommend it if you want a no-frills, solid and satisfying meal.

... eine der ersten Adressen für gepflegte Gastlichkeit in angenehmer Atmosphäre und mit freundlichem Service !
If you're the type that likes 'old fashioned German food' eg schnitzel with pommes and vegetables, and furniture that hasn't been replaced since the early '80, then you might want to consider. We were here for a birthday last year which is the only reason we stayed... In all honesty, the food wasn't bad. It's just not what we normally eat and like

Hello once again dear friends and gourmet lovers!!I come back with another great review about ESTOR in Aachen. A small cosy restaurant which is preaty well hide if you don't know your way arround or if you don't have an insider tip to find it. I can tell you that we were very pleassed about everything in here, and this was our 3rd time we have been there. Everytime is the same: great Gourmet food, great wins selection and none of the less great friendly and professional service! You pay a dime or two more but you know what for I can only recommend it!!! Yours TG

We had a great lunch at La Becasse in Aachen. After more than 20 years this restaurant is still excellent and provides amazing food with a phantastic wine selection. The lunch is a 3 course menu with amuse geul, intermediate and changes daily.

Located 300m from the old town centre. Lively and family run. Simple unsophisticated grub, and plenty of it. Very busy - when we phoned we were told they were full, but our hotel was able to book us a table for 4 at the time we wanted (and then it was definitely full!!).Service was a bit slow, but given the place was packed it was not surprising.

We were there last November, just wanted to try some different from kebap cuisine. The service is immaculate, the owners are very pleasant people and the Polish food there is extremely delicious. We haven't tried anything else from their extensive menu, however they have pasta, kebap and few other dishes. The prices are perfectly fine. Today for 3 beers, 2x6 Pierogi and 1 plate of 4 Placki we paid 32 EUR.I totally recommend this place!

We had a 4-courses menu at Alte Feuerwache. The staff was nice and attentive. From the starters to dessert, everything was perfect. Especially the main course (beef tenderloin) was so tender and delicate I could probably have a second portion. The portion for starters is actually too big but in the end my husband and I were full but didn't feel like overeaten. The restaurant has its own parking lot across the street which is very convenient. I also like the open kitchen very much. While waiting for our next course we could watch the staff in the kitchen, seeing how food was cooked and prepared. It smelled so good the whole evening. I would definitely visit this restaurant again.
