We walked on from the top of the Krimml waterfalls and ate lunch at this wonderful restaurant. Staff were very helpful in explaining the menu and the food was outstanding. It was quite cool for July but the restaurant was cozy, warm and welcoming.
We have been coming to this place for years. This has become our preferred apres ski spot on our final run downhill every day. The building is strikingly interesting, the place has a good vibe but for the smoke. Today was particularly annoying: the place was almost empty with plenty of seating for us. Right inside, in front of the bar, though, a table has been set up apparently for staff spending their time off. This time, 4 people were sitting at the beer bench and table, which is an odd addition to the otherwise stylish solid wood interior. They were happily smoking away, causing quite some annoyance among those of us waiting for their food and drinks only 2 meters away at the bar. A shame, really: a well coinceived idea of a place, lavishly implemented to then be spoilt by careless staff and management.

Wrongly assumed this would be an apres-ski pizzeria bar type establishment... Not at all. Although newly built, it was gemuetlich and cosy, very friendly and with excellent food. Frankly the best pizzas I've had outside Italy. We went back a number of times during our two weeks. Good beer, good wine, good service, and when the weather was good, a lovely terrace with views of the mountains looming over Bramberg am Wildkogel.

All the staff at the Fliegerbichl speak good english, the food is excellent, ideally located just off the ski lift. Very clean.

On returning from our visit to the falls, we stopped here for light refreshments. The service was rather slow but okay, the range of food was simple but quite good and prices were fair.On the big plus-side, at the right time of day when the outside seating is bathed in glorious sunshine, there can be few better places to enjoy some food and soak up the splendid views of the waterfall - for this value adding reason I've given four stars rather than a three, which would better reflect the offering.

I like everything about this restaurant except one thing. In more than 50 % of the restaurant you're aloud to smoke meaning a hell for us non smokers. Follow the rest of Europe and keep restaurants and bars smoke free and you will get a much higer review and more guests.

With a unique view of the Habach glacier, the Weyerhof is located at the entrance of Europeâs only natural emerald deposits, the Habachtals and is first recorded as existing as early as 1130. The Weyerhof has been family-owned since 1832. Still today, the
Large dinner for friends both foreign and local. Immaculately served, lovely cooking, beautiful wine and about 100 euro per person for 5 courses seemed very cheap. Love this place and will return!

A very often forgotten place to have lunch in the ski area of Königsleiten (Zillertal Arena). You will find and extensive menu to choose from. All dishes seems to be thoroughly produced and the taste is good. Very nice outdoor seating if the weather is right. The few steps you have to walk is nothing to get an affordable meal.

Walked in on a Sunday night, expecting to find your typical Austrian restaurant. I was surprised to see that it wasn't, and that they were almost fully booked that night! They did manage to accommodate us and continued to present us with a short but varied menu and gave us a bunch of options for the kids outside the menu. Before dinner was served we got an amuse from the kitchen which was excellent, followed by main courses that were very well prepared, tasted delicious and looked great as well. Pleasantly surprised by the price tag as well - not as cheap as some of the more traditional places but certainly excellent value for money. Highly recommended if you're staying in the area.
