We had cheese ravioli, salad and Kaiserschmarrn, which were all very good. Their menu is quite extensive and looked yummy. Not a lot for vegetarians though. The waitress was super friendly and the food came unexpectedly quick. We often order Kaiserschmarrn when in Austria and it usually takes quite a long time before you get it. So this was a pleasant surprise. We'll definitely go back to the schwarze Adler.

Visited this place with colleagues during our trip to Leoben. Reason behind my title is that for some reasons every time I go there and I order red wine, somehow I end up with white! Guessing not speaking Austrian does not help. Cannot comment on the food but the menu is the same as the place next door called Arkadenhof. I know this restaurant well and I know that the food is excellent. The wine selection is good and the atmosphere is excellent.

This little restaurant in the center of Leoben seems to be a meeting point for Leobeners, it's always crowded over lunchtime. It has a nice ambiente and very friendly staff, however, the food I ordered - a salat with grilled pigeon breasts was not convincing, the meat was hard-bitten and full of sinews. Maybe I should try a different choice the next time. The other people seemed to be happy with their food.

"We are telling beer storys, because we are beer history" that's the slogan of Arkadenhof, the oldest brewery restaurant of Leoben. A fact, that the well known beer pope Conrad Seidl noticed too, and elected the "A-Hof", that's how the locals call the cul
I came here with a few colleagues tonight, having been recommended to us. The service was friendly, attentive and fast, and the restaurant was clean, the decor was very traditional. Contrary to other reviews menus are available in English.I had the potato soup with mushrooms to start which was the best soup I've had in a long time, followed by turkey schnitzel which was absolutely delicious and massive- putting shame to what we call a schnitzel in England! This along with 2 beers came to â¬22 which I thought was excellent value. This is definitely a great choice in Leoben, and situated right in the main square.
