This is a small and comfortable place, which best suit for a couple who want to spend 1-2 hours having either a good european dinner, or simply coffee with cakes. The best is mega-capuccino with éclairs.

Opened in December 2006, restaurant «Beerlin» has become a true jewel in Tula's restaurant scene. We offer a wide selection of Russian and European cuisine. Our chef is a true master of this craft and we are sure, whether it is a simple seasonal offer, or
This restaurant offers good combination of beers and meals. Very interesting interior which creates pleasure atmoshere. Large restaurant halls.Taste meat dishes, some of its are very special, for example "meat on the dry grass (seno on Russian)". Nice choice of self-made breads, so-called "bread buscet".The prices are higher than average but not highest in Tula.

Just had a lovely long lunch here. They have a brewery on site and I had a great dark beer while wifey had a lighter one. For lunch we had beef and ural dumplings, both excellent. Also lovely homemade desserts. It's a great venue on the edge of the Central Park and staff are very helpful. Best place I've eaten in tula so far, even better than Frau Marta. And the urinals have a head rest, much needed after a heavy meal. Cheers Steve

This is a very European style place with a huge selection of wines displayed on shelves around the cellar. They serve very good food also. Service is friendly and helpful. The cream mushroom soup was excellent!

It's a nice place with great location - just 3 minutes from main historical place to visit - Kremlin. What about the interior - good looking modern style - nice heavy wooden tables, modern chairs. But some tables are very close to the entrance door. This door opens to a small hall connecting this cafe and pizza next door. I suppose during cold days it won't be a good choice to sit here. Better one is to take a table near great big windows.Talking about food and drinks. I'd tell just well done. You won't be upset cause all dishes are big. After standard Moscow ones it looks like doubled. I got porridge with banana and peanut and granola with berries. Rlly I had to ordered only one dish.Coffee is tasty, rlly good. You may also take free water. It's not a common practice in Russia. What about cons - only 1 WC room is rlly not enough. Cannot add anything else to cons.

We were 5 people dining in Berendei, last time I was there was 2 years ago, when I was very satisfied with the standard. This time I was going to be disappointed, something I sensed at the moment we entered. The place is very nice, situated on the Moscow- Crimea highway, just outside Tula. We were met by a young girl in jeans and hooded sports sweather, at first I thought it was a guest, but it turned out to be a waiter. Last time the waiters had nice uniforms, giving them some sense of authority and professionalism. This time they were all clad in casual clothes, not suitable for a restaurant like this- not even McDonalds would let you wear such clothes. Staff were nice and polite- nothing bad to say, but often it seemed the 4 waiters were more concerned with internet than their customers. I could see as we approached that it was only one cook in the kitchen, which was probably why we would wait so extremely long before our food came. When it came we got a little bit here and a little bit there. I did not experience this type of service in any of the restaurants in Tula at all. The Uzbek cafe on Lenina was a 5 star place compared to what Berendei has become. The food was not bad- not bad at all, but again compared to the other 12 restaurants I visited, I would rate all above Berendei actually. Food was average- nothing more, so compared to what you pay- not worth a visit at all if I may say so. For example the rice in the Plov was overcooked, so it tasted more like porridge etc. I understand very well why restaurant PUBLIC is among top 3- but cannot at all understand how Berendei happened to achieve this rating.

A fusion of various cuisines, nicely and comfortably designed. Food quite good but not outstanding, partly overpriced, As a compromise of a bar, a lounge a restaurant and a cafe all at once the concept is ok. However very friendly and quite attentive staff and nothing in particular negative.ÐдÑавÑÑвÑйÑе! ÐлагодаÑим ÐÐ°Ñ Ð·Ð° оÑзÑв.
