Find out what Central European restaurants to try in Tirol. Once known as The Land of the Mountains, the 10,000-square-mile province of Tirol is a wonderland of gushing rivers, lush meadows and rugged peaks. Fantastic hiking trails wind along paths through the Zillertal Alps. Famed resort towns confetti the mountainsides, including Kitzbühel, St. Anton, Ischgl and Seefeld, site of some events in the 1964 and 1976 Winter Games. Compact capital Innsbruck is a medieval gem. We tried the hamburger, the raclette steak and the Groschtl that consists of 2 friend eggs and potatoes with a selección oficial meat. Everything was good and tasty. The waitress provided with coloring book and pencils for the child's entertainment. Waiting time was good as well as not expensive prices. If you are around, you will probably want to make a visit.

Located in Partenkirchen, next to bus stop. Beautiful old town area with lots of shops and restaurants. Schloderer a baverean atmosphere. Comfortable, casual, small and friendly service. They will accommodate just about any dietary requests you have. My wife requires gluten free and they made one of the meals on the menu gluten free for her. Warning, very popular with locals so if you want a seat go early.

Sat down, someone cleaned the table but left the dirty ashtray, then eventually returned with a menu. The wait wasnât over though as taking the order was also super slow. Drinks arrived and then the pizzaâs in a decent time. However the staff then disappeared for ages. Food eaten, drinks finished and no sign of staff. Eventually someone appeared to remove the plates. The pizza was good and the Ayinger beer a nice alternative in the area. It is a restaurant though, no drinking without eating appeared to be possible.

Das Marktrestaurant has a Michelinstar for one year now. Owner Andreas and his wife Nancy no how to spoil their guests with great food and beautiful wines. The restaurant which is open for lunch and dinner is located in the lovely small village of Mittenwald, close to the border of Austria. That's why a lot of people, from example Seefeld, take a 15 min. drive to have a unique dinner. The price/quality is superb!!! Please open a second restaurant on our Markt in Amsterdam!!!!

Nice restaurant, excellent food, very good price! You will find it on the road to the Galtur ski resort, exiting Galtur, on the right side of the road. Very helpful and nice staff, and the food, uhhhh...right away cooked. The garlic cream soup, delicious!!! And the local pancakes with apple jam, a must!! Congrats to the owners, we will definitely come back!

The Gebhard restaurant is a welcome variation to the usual Austrian restaurants. The service is excellent. The food is well prepared and served with care. Not the 'usual' food but well balanced tasteful dishes prepared with fresh materials. The menu is somewhat restricted with 2 appetizers and 2 soups and a couple of main dishes. There is more variation in the desserts. They are equally nice. They carry a nice selection of wines with great suggestions to match the food, also for wine by the glass. Cost is 70 to 75 euro per person for 3 courses with drinks. Reservations are needed as the have less capacity when the hotel is full.

Having booked ahead of time (recommend) based solely on TA reviews, I felt reasonably confident that this would be good. First off the building and setting has a genuine traditional appearance, and a stunning vista. Good start.Staff were very friendly, and welcoming offering up genuine good natured banter (it's a word get over it).The food was very good, in terms of taste it was spot on. Everything was tasting like a better version of the food you are used to in your life of consuming mass produced produce. Not only this but all the dishes were prepared very well. I would happily give this place 5/6 based on food alone. With all the other bits it's easily 6/6.Worth the little trip up the winding mountain road.Dear TravelHero85!Thank you very much. All the bestFamily Geisler
