Cafe Helenka - INTERNATIONAL MENU WITH A TINGE OF FRENCH FLAVOUR Situated in the historic heart of the Szczawnica resort, on the Dietl Square, is an ideal place to meet friends, have a business lunch or an afternoon coffee. The interior of the Café Helenk
Nice cafe in a historical building with beautifull interior. The coffee and the cakes are very good. Only drawback is that once when we arrived 20 minutes before closing we had to leave - they didn't serve any hot drinks - not coffee or tea. Strange

After reading the recommendations, we expected something extraordinary, and their "bohema" - a beef dish, was ordinary. Sprouts which were an addition to the dish were partly moldy. Fortunately, we noticed mold before putting them in the mouth! Carefully check that there is no mold in the sprouts. Prices are rather high for Szczawnica. An elegant, stylish interior that reminds of good old times.

The best sausages that I had in Poland the service was also good and best of all it's a fraction the of the price of other European resorts.

Ive been many times in szczawnica and this place is the my true destination point. Forget about fresh air or Palenica or any other attractions in Szczawnica are not relevant This restaurant is the mandatory poit while sightseeing. Very good traditional polish food, cheap and big portion. Potato pancakes with stew and dumplings are near to perfection. Big big big thumb up. Best place in Szczawnica!

This is a very picturesque place, but we expected it according to the previews of the author's cuisine. We ordered "The Count's delicacy - Przysmak hrabiego" - a chicken fillet with chanterelles baked in cheese. That was a fillet, but instead of a chanterelles there were boletus, hmmm, it was not so bad, but why we were told about that after we ate? The cheese was gummy - not eatable. The "Pipikas Robber - Pipikas Zboj" potato pancake with beef stew was very good.
