Of the restaurants we sampled whilst staying in Lenzerheide, this was undoubtedly the best.Our party ate veal, curry and nasi goreng. We all agreed the food was marvellous and were disappointed later in the week that we could not eat there again as the restaurant was full.

I had heard about this restaurant. I had heard it's great. But it's more than that. It is really outstanding! We had the Chef's Menu and were delighted. I don't want to say what we ate because the originality in combination and presentation of the meals/ingredients are part of its greatness. Just let me tell you that the ingredients are regional and from the highest quality. The wine card is really big and the staff recommendations are very well informed. Another fine aspect is that this restaurant offers an informal atmosphere which is very inviting. We also booked a room in the lovely hotel. So we could eat for as long as we wished. I kid you not when I say: This was one of the best meals of my life! (and I eat out often ;-) ) I urge you not to miss this place if you're by chance in Switzerland or near the Alps. It's wonderful!

Of course, it is an expensive place to go to - but still, it is great value for money - and the wines are have better prices than in many less exclusive restaurants! For me, a restaurant has to satisfy me in three dimensions: Food - Ambiance - Staff and Andreas Caminada and his team make sure that all these dimensions are taken care of. You really feel welcome and at home, there are no stiff upper lips or french-style waiter snobbishness, everything goes easy but, as you can expect, is highly professional. This time round, we were very happy with the food which had the seasonal touch of fall-winter, but was still colorful and presented a happy contrast to the weather outside. Leave room for the cheese board which is full of excellent specialties from the region and even comes with some small blue local potatoes. Ms Junge does an excellent job with the wines. And last but not least, this is the restaurant where the chef shows presence, bids farewell to the guests. Overall, again a great experience. Thanks to all who made it happen!

Friendly restaurant with nice views. Good with kids as well. However, tab water for CHF 5 per 5dl (large glass) is outrageous. Dear usach. Many thanks for your visit and your comments. We are glad, that you've enjoyed your stay with us. And YES, we charge Fr. 1.- per dl Tab Water. But this money isn't for us - we DONATE all (!!!) this money to the "Schweizer Berghilfe" (Swiss Mountain Aid) as shown in our wine- & beverage list as well as in the menu. The fondue is excellent and the setting is Swiss kitsch, a Disneyland version of a traditional Swiss fondue hut. If you haven't been to a fondue steubli you'll enjoy this manufactured version. Despite the overdone tourist theme, complete with red checks and old wood, (I half expected a fake mountain gnome to appear) the food is actually great and the service professional. The fondue was irresistible down to the last dipped bread nugget. They execute the Swiss crowd pleasers really well. We only had lunch here. Between 14.00 and 18.00 hrs you can choose from the Nachmittag karte. The sandwiches were very, very tasty. And you get a lot of food!The sight from the terrace was beautiful. Walking distance from the train station and the city center.

The room extremly cost and well designed.The âSPAâ amenities are really well kept and tidy. They however tend to be really narrow when busy... this reduces the anti stress level.Breakfast was simply amazing in choice and quality- second small but - why serve frozen âDryâ croissants at this level?The restaurant met all expectancies. The cod was extremly well cooked and the yuzu and sepia sauce simply marvelous despite the rather low temperature of the dish when it arrived at the table. The jalapeños mousse was a stunner.
