We had dinner at Momento Di and had a wonderful evening out. Their set menu was extremely good value for money with 5 courses at 59 Euro for 2. The outside terrace overlooking the harbour scenery during sunset was lovely and the service was very relaxed, personal but still very attentive. The small gestures are what makes this place special, like serving our kids a tiny cup of soup as well, so they had a multi course dinner feel too. If you are staying in Hamburg south of the river, Momento Di is not to be missed.

We have been at the "Dorfkrug" the first time after the renovation and extension and we were possitively surprised. The atmosphere is nice, cosy and due to the open fire place warm. The srevice is excellent. The chef offered an "Amuse Bouche" and explained some of his ideas, the waitresses were very supporting, nice and friendly. The choise of food is fromtraditional german cuisine to mediterane food and all we had was very good. The fish was fresh, the duck was soft and juicy. The wine menue is good but nut over exciting. Special is the Smokers Lounge where they offer some cigars and and you can sit and have a nice digesive. We will go there again soon

We visited with our 2 kids and had good fun. Food is generally good - though my pork was quite dry and my daughter did not finish her chicken nuggets which she would usually do. My son had the nacho burger and my wife had the smoked salmon, which were both nice. Good friendly service.

Not typical Spanish Tapas, but delicious. The service is a little bit arrogant. Very noisy inside the restaurant, when you cannot enjoy the patio outside during the summertime.

I was lodged in the hotel alongside of this restaurant and just by occasion went in for diner. The restaurant was quite full, but they found me a place on the first floor. Service was very friendly and quick. The menu did look good and had a great variety of choice. I took a vitello tonato as a starter and a pasta with lamb as a main. Both where very good, not only for taste but also for portionsize.

A lovely, calm place located only 5 minutes from the A7, Hittfeld. Our guests enjoy their stay on our terrace by the water or in front of the fireplace inside the restaurant. We offer fresh German regional and seasonal food in a beautiful atmosphere.
This restaurant considered as best restaurant in this area by Michelin guide 2015-2017, the location is very nice with the lake and garden.i feel more in tropical country in Summer than in mid Europe. Nicely choose vegetation surroundings make the place even better. We came for dinner and since this area are best for forelle fish, we order grilled forelle with tomato soup as starter, the soup was ok but the grilled forelle is amazing with aioli sauce and chimi churi even better the taste like melting in the mouth. The Apple crumble in dessert menu is good thing to choose also! It was great experience to dinner there and all staff is very friendly. The price bit high but for the experience is worth.

The apartment is clean and well equipped and in a superb, quiet location with adjacent forest and abundant wildlife, especially birds including nuthatch, woodpeckers, flycatchers and many varieties of raptor - although we also saw red squirrels, wild boar, deer and possibly the largest hare in the world! There is off-road parking. The vast expanse of heather covered moorland of the Nordheide is easily accessible. It is only about a quarter of an hour's drive to Buchholz with its many supermarkets, shops and restaurants, although there are some very good country restaurants nearby. Annegret is a perfect hostess, attentive and accommodating without being in the least intrusive. We had friends visit from Hamburg and she was more than happy to make up two extra beds so they could have a drink and stay the night - no charge. Her large garden is a marvel and designed as a managed wilderness to be a haven for native plants and wildlife, including insects. Such a wild space takes a lot of work and dedication, so Annegret spends quite a few hours every day maintaining it - do ask her to show you around, it's fabulous! All in all one of the very best, and least expensive apartments in which we have stayed - I cannot recommend it highly enough.
Lovely service and food. Staff very nice and although not speaking fluent English were very helpful ample parking and quiet surroundings
Where to eat German food in Rosengarten: The Best Restaurants and Bars

Henry's Restaurant is a surprisingly good for a hotel restaurant. The interior is somewhat different from a typical German Gasthaus and the menu reflects that same difference. Naturally the basic traditional dishes are served but there are also very nice choices for another kind of tastes. The price level matches well with the portion sizes as well as the quality. The bar is small, but extremely cozy.
