We would not have found this place without a little help from our local friends. What a place!I have eaten thousands of pizzas, also in Italy. The pizza they serve at Del-Iss is comparable with the best from Italy. Excellent quality and lovely appearance too. They are truly dedicated to what they do and also those in our large group of 12 who choose different dishes were very happy.Service is outstanding. The son of the founder is really attentive and friendly! You can tell he loves his job. They have 2 separate rooms available, one for smokers and one for non-smokers. We will be back!

Out the way from the centre bit walkable from our accommodation, this is a turkey rustic & homely place to have dinner. Loved all the cow bells everywhere. We got moved around tables a bit as we were just 2 people & there were lots of bit tables to accommodate; but that's credit to their tasty food I suppose & we didn't mind. Enjoyed sampling local cuisine, very generous portions & reasonable prices. Good post ski munchies, & walking distance in Hollenzen!

We ate here as a family (two teenagers) and everyone loved it (I have venison ragout). The salad bar was superb, the best we came across all week. The staff were friendly and the service was excellent. The place was nicely full and the atmosphere was just lovely. Well worth the wander up the town.Dear Einmear,Thanks a lot for the first time that you have taken the time to rate our Retsuarnt. We are very happy about the great review. We would be happy to welcome you back soon in our restaurant.Best regards !Hotel Ländenhof

Lifestyle ski hut on the mountain
The only issue of this restaurant is that there is a lack of restaurants in Kaltenbach skiing resort, so this one is just flooded by skiers looking for some place to eat. Unless you come 11:30 latest, you would be stopped by the staff just next to the toilets and waiting in a long line to get in, after they let you in you find out that there are no free tables anyway and you would be running around the restaurants with many other people, trying to get a place to eat. And once you get the place, there will be less lucky people passing by your table all the time, looking for their moment of fortune and finding the place to eat.Otherwise service guys are really trying to cope with overloaded restaurant, despite blocked corridors always in a good mood. Food is really good and you pay just a little bit extra for that compared to standard restaurant on the ski slopes. To summarize - this establishment gets 3 stars only because it does not have a working system how to regulate number of people inside. Place itself, service and food is very nice.

âWhite outâ on the mountain. Dash!! Or ruder words that TA wonât accept. Back to hotel and changed. After wandering aimlessly round the village, fell upon this place in the quiet top corner of the town. Glad we did. Unlike previous reviewers, we were not bothered about it being different (go to st anton sir and spend â¬400 on your lunch), we just wanted tasty. Thatâs what we got. Great goulash, good spaghetti, tasty breads and meat spreads. Service good, polite and there when you needed it. A great lunch experience. Definitely better than you would get up the mountain!!Danke für Ihren Besuch bei uns und dass Sie sich die Zeit für die positive Bewertung genommen haben!Bis(s) bald beim Perauer!

The Sonnengartl is pretty special for our family, and in particular, me, because it is usually the first stop on our first proper walk of the holiday, and therefore my first proper beer of the holiday. It is ideally located on the halfway point of what we call the River walk â the âwell-signpostedâ flat walk along the river from Mayrhofen down to Ramsau, and then back along the other bank. By the time you reach it, you are ready for a rest, and of course, a drink. If the weather is good, and it often is in August, the beer garden is a sun-trap. There is a play area for the children, too, which is well maintained. The beer, particularly the stuff from the local Zillertal brewery , is excellent. This year, we also had a couple of small meals there, pizza, fries, which were great, and the cake was great. The Kasestrudel deserves a special mention! On the second week of the hols we were joined by my in-laws, and made a second visit of the holiday. Again, the food and drinks were very good indeed.

At Hofer´s Wirtshäusl, directly located at the camping side, Tyrolean specialties, international treats and homemade pizza can be found on the menu. The kitchen team emphasizes the use of the finest and freshest ingredients, seasonal fruits and vegetables
Since my last review, a few things have changed. The previous manager has left and the resteraunt is now managed again by the Hofers, and they have a new chef. They have an uncanny ability to employ the most amazing chefs and staff, as the food is outstanding as always, and the bar staff are never still (either serving drinks and food, washing glasses or cleaning the bar area), and are a credit to the resteraunt. We tend to eat here most nights when we visit, whether that be an delicious full meal on NYE, the most succulent ribs with friends, or a fantastic thin crust pizza if it's just myself the wife.I have to recommend the chestnut soup which, at the risk or sounding cliche, is to die for. It has always been delicious and I have tasted nothing like it outside of Hofers, but dare I say it, the new chef has improved on it.They never cease to amaze me with their amazing food or hospitality. Long may it continue :-)

We spent there 5 nights with halbpension. It was splendid! Every evening, we were allowed to choose something in the "à la carte" style and everything we´ve had was cooked and served that even in 5* hotel (or Michelin star restaurant) would not be ashamed of. Highly recommended to go there and to have a fancy dinner there. Definitely are coming back next year!

Having booked ahead of time (recommend) based solely on TA reviews, I felt reasonably confident that this would be good. First off the building and setting has a genuine traditional appearance, and a stunning vista. Good start.Staff were very friendly, and welcoming offering up genuine good natured banter (it's a word get over it).The food was very good, in terms of taste it was spot on. Everything was tasting like a better version of the food you are used to in your life of consuming mass produced produce. Not only this but all the dishes were prepared very well. I would happily give this place 5/6 based on food alone. With all the other bits it's easily 6/6.Worth the little trip up the winding mountain road.Dear TravelHero85!Thank you very much. All the bestFamily Geisler
