Find out what Central European restaurants to try in Radom. Radom ([ˈradɔm] ( listen); Yiddish: ראָדעם Rodem) is a city in east-central Poland with 219,703 inhabitants (2013). It is located 100 kilometres (62 miles) south of Poland's capital, Warsaw, on the Mleczna River, in (as of 1999) the Masovian Voivodeship, having previously been the capital of Radom Voivodeship (1975–1998). Despite being part of the Masovian Voivodeship, the city historically belongs to Lesser Poland. For centuries, Radom was part of the Sandomierz Voivodeship of the Kingdom of Poland and the later Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth. It was an important center of administration, having served as seat of the Crown Council. The Pact of Vilnius and Radom was signed there in 1401, and the Nihil novi and Łaski's Statute were adopted by the Sejm at Radom's Royal Castle in 1505. In 1976, it was a center of anti Communist street protests.

Pivovaria brew their own beer, which we sampled lovingly. The American Pale Ale APA was oustanding. Food was reasonable and good quality. The staff were friendly and spoke enough English to get what was required. The full on disco / club downstairs was a bit of a surprise but was enjoyed by some of our group. Excellent place, highly recommended.

One of the oldest and best known places in Radom, located in the heart of the city, near city council's seat and Żeromskiego pedestrian zone. Offering wide range of both Polish and international dishes, with a slight Far Eastern swing. You could find there good selection of soups, including creams, meats (including T-Bone, but also pork chop or spare ribs), fish (among them both internationally known salmon but also local cod), pastas, pizzas, salads and sweets. Service is OK, although not the best I've met, they should communicate in English. In short: worth visiting when you are in Radom for the first or only time.
My mum came across the restaurant online and told me about it and straight away I knew I had to try it. So it was a no brainier to visit Gruszki na Wierzbie when I was in Radom. I was so impressed with every aspect of the restaurant: great space, lovely staff and AMAZING food! Honestly I have never had such an amazing vegan burger and the fact that I could even choose between white and wholemeal bun made it even better. I have also had a freshly squeezed juice which was amazing too! I think it is the best place to eat in Radom right now and the prices are so inviting too. I cannot wait to visit the restaurant again and try something new.LOVED IT!!!
