Reviews on Central European food in Moraira, Province of Alicante, Spain. An old fishing town on Spain's Costa Blanca against a backdrop of mountains, Moraira is a picturesque destination for a family holiday. You will find a combination of sandy and rocky beaches alternating with intriguing coves, and the climate is a sunny but temperate one. If you are looking for water sports, head for Portet Cove which was originally a safe haven for ships. It is within walking distance of the lookout tower near the Cap d'Or, from where there are spectacular views of the coastline. Don't miss the eighteenth century castle, right by the shore. Golf lovers will be pleased to know that Moraira has three golf courses. As well as spending time on the beach, you can enjoy a boat trip and admire the clear waters of the Mediterranean Sea. On your return, choose from a delightful array of restaurants along the shore.

Staying up the way from here thought weâd give it a go even though an odd location.Good service and friendly host. We all had schnitzel of various sorts. Havenât had one for years and it was really good. Crispy outer and tasty sauce. The veg were tinned so a bit of a let down shame as the rest was good. Only other criticism was that we werenât asked if we wanted desserts. But would definitely go back.

Welcome at Restaurant/Terrace El Cafetà de la Mar. El Cafetà de la Mar is a restaurant with a beautiful terrace with Dutch owners. The fantastic location, close to the sea and in front of the castle of Moraira, creates a great ambiance and you can enjoy s
I went to this place repeatedly when on holidays. Excellent coffee, excellent service and fantastic sangria. The staff has been excellent and very polite. We met different members of staff. They were not polite just because they happened to know us, they were genuinely polite and this was excellent. Although sometimes we stayed late, they were NEVER unpolite!!! Always nice and helpful!!! Excellent quality of sangria!!! Highly recommended!!! Congratulations to the staff!!!!

On an invite from a Swiss friend. The Cordon Blue is simply the best, really. Try all the restaurants in a 50 km radius and you will not find better. Patrick and Regina are just wonderful, which translates into the food and the drinks. Had the Cordon Blue special (if you want to know what that is, jus go...) - finished with a Tiramisu with Baileys, what else you want? Oh yes, the special "Chupito", see pictures again. More than excellent service, price /quality and value for money. Do not hesitate, just try it. I bet you will not be disappointed. Patrick, Regina, I´ll be back.... Keep up the excellent work and see you very soon.
