If you are tiered of mainstream food and want som genuine local well cooked food. Then you should take the walk up to this restaurant. Itâs a little steep walk from the center, but itâs all worth it..Here you can eat really good traditional dishes in a very nice atmosphere...Mind that they donât accept Credit cards, but you can pay with euros...

Incredibly reasonably priced and down to earth restaurant. Wholesome tasty portions and lots of microbrewed Czech beers. Well worth a visit.

You are truly dining with a superior chief who has the art of using fresh herbs, fruits, spices to enhance his high quality foods. The fennel salad lovely beginning with several unexpected lettuces, the crispy moist duck was placed on two types of warm sweet cabbage and a special treat (on the left) dumplings made with goose liver pate. Dessert was something creative the chef prepared. Apples and another fruit surrounding a gelatin accented with lots of cinnamon and cloves. See for yourself!

This restaurant is the best!! Fine quisine with a fantastic tasting menu. The service is superb, the pairing wines are outstanding and the quality of the dishes is worth to plan a night out to this lovely cozy restaurant. We had both a tasting menu and with extra coffee and pairing drinks the overall price is way cheaper than we expected.

Since 1759. Throughout its long existence Male Versailles has welcomed distinguished cultural figures as guests, including the German poet Goethe. In the 1930s the Versailles lake became the home arena for the local ice-hockey team. Male Versailles is in
We went there for Sunday lunch. The restaurant was quite busy but the food was prepared quickly nevertheless. All of the food was excellent and very well prepared. My roasted pork neck with two types of cabbage and mixed dumplings is a dish I have had many times in Czech restaurants. This was undoubtedly the best I have ever had. The meat was tender and moist. I think it is excellent value for the money given the quality of the food and better value than other similar level restaurants in Karlovy Vary.We were charged for the bread brought to the table. We did not ask for it and later we were charged for it. It was not expensive so the cost is not an issue but, it should have been made clear that it was going to be charged for. The waitresses were efficient and friendly but seemed a little rushed.Overall an excellent lunch and I will be going again the next time I am in Karlovy Vary.Dear Amuzzy, thank you so much for your brilliant review! It is very important for us to know that our customers are happy with the food. And thank you for your advice about bread - we will talk with our employees about that.Looking forward to see you again!

My friends and I chose this restaurant thanks to the good remarks on tripadvisor .. none of the waiters, unfortunately, can speak English but one of my friend can soeak a little bit Czech. They were so nice with and they really appreciated the huge effort of my friend. We ordered three different dishes and they were all really tasty!

My wife and I both opted for the six-course tasting menu with wine pairings. Everything was very good. Ambiance and setting are pleasant right beside the river. Service was very professional.Very likely Le Marche is one of the very best restaurants in town.Recommended.Dear devil2908,Thank you for your visit as well as your kind review and recommendation. We are very happy to hear that you enjoyed the evening in our restaurant. The quiet cozy riverside atmosphere is one of the things that our guest really love about us.We would be delighted to welcome you again!Best WishesMartina B.

We were recommended the restaurant by our hotel manager, so our expectations of it were very high. The position was lovely, overlooking the beautiful town square and its stunning old world charm. However, it stops there. We ordered a beef dish which my husband ate and said it was edible, but not hot. I ordered pork with potato dumpling and spinach. YUCK! There was no other word to describe the meal. It came out luke warm,(microwaved) the pork was rock hard and dry (it certainly wasn't freshly cooked to order); the creamed spinach was undesirable to say the least, and the dumpling stodgy and flavourless.
