We ate here twice. First day, we had Swiss Food like Zurcher Geschetzlets and Rösti and on New Year's Day we had the 3 course menu. The Price is reasonable and you Need to make reservations as there are about 10 tables there...

We were looking for a classic Swiss restaurant to have a fondue while on a ski holiday (ski lifts closed for 4 days due to high winds but that's another story). Booked early in the day by phone in English as all the restaurants are booked up they say. Arrived on time to find no-one speaking either English or French so had to make do with hand signals - now I accept this is part of the 'fun' but when you pay £20 per person for a fondue one could expect a little service in a country where (nearly) every school child learns French, German and English. The restaurant is divided into two parts - an inner part and an outer part near the door. We were put near the door and the kids had to huddle together to keep warm as the door was open more often than closed - and this was when the outside temperature was only a few degrees below zero. Yes we could have complained but I was getting fed up with having to complain about bad service in every restaurant we visited in Leukerbad, with the exception of the Romerhof which was good. As to the food: the bread for the fondue was stale, the fondue was too runny and the fondue burner went out - if the staff were present then I would have asked them to relight it (using hand signals) but their absence was notable - probably due to how cold it was! So if you have to eat here - and this might happen as there is a shortage of available restaurants tables in busy times, then insist on a table inside, wear your thermal underwear, brush up your German and be prepared for a bill in excess of £120 for 4 (2 children + 2 adults).

This is a wonderful place, the restaurant has a very nice atmosphere, the ambiance is cozy and the setting is simply beautiful. We had a wonderful evening at Parkhotel Quellenhof restaurant. We particularly appreciated the quality of the food, which is exquisite, the charm of the restaurant and the pleasantness of the staff, nice and discreet. The waiter was excellent at recommending wine to accompany courses and could read into customerâs tastes. This place is a wonder and I would book my whole stay there if I were to come back to Leukerbad.

we came in here and loved the place the waiters where all really really nice and the food was great when we got the bill we got charged for 2 salads instead of one as it turned out I had one salad and went back to the buffet to take a little more cabbage and dressing they charged me for a full portion instead of telling me a second serving would be a whole new salad if I had known I could have made a choice there was a sign high up on the bar with small letters saying one serving only but you really had to look for it and the owner who was right there second time could have told me when she say I only took some small cabbage and dressing I tried to tell her in a friendly way but she was super rude to bad on a place like that with such friendly staff and good food

This is a charming restaurant about 3 km southwest of Leukerbad village by foot. We walked uphill through falling snow along a "Winterwandereg" to get here and it was well worth the effort. We only went for afternoon coffee and "nusstorte " but clearly most patrons made it an afternoon out for a full meal. The wine list was impressive! The restaurant is beautifully decorated with local Valais memorabilia and artwork. The prices are comparable to other venues, and menus in English are available. A great way to fill out an afternoon!

An excellent experience on all counts. We were greeted at the door, seated immediately, and were well taken care of throughout the evening. The pappardelle and rösti were among the best Iâve had anywhere in Switzerland. We were there for my wifeâs birthday, and the staff did an outstanding job making the occasion special.
