Bavarian food
Dropped in here for a meal last night while staying across the road at the Lambacher guesthouse. It was very busy (about 7:30pm on a Saturday night), but the waitress managed to find us one free table that just needed to be cleared. We weren't really hungry as we had eaten a massive lunch at Tegernsee Brausterbl, so we ordered drinks first, a dark beer (Dunkel) for me and a Pinot Grigio 0.25L for my wife. The Pinot turned out to be a rose! The menu was in German and I couldn't understand most of it, so the waitress brought us an English version and we ordered one meal to share (Shashlik with french fries). When the meal appeared, it was clear that this order was also mixed-up, in that we had a very full plate each! The food was very tasty, with the shashlik of meat and veg covered in a goulash-like sauce and the chips were the crispiest, tastiest ever with the gravy! Although full, I managed to eat most of mine and my wife finished hers off completely! The waitress was lovely, very helpful, and i think the kitchen screwed up our order, hence, only 3 stars, but the food is definitely worth 4 stars.P.S. I also am giving just 3 stars because the restaurant was way too warm, even when we stripped down to T-shirts. A poor lady on an adjacent table was fanning herself for much of the night!

The inntel Valley is a local secret on the edge of Kufstein and leads you into the valley between the Wild and Calm kaiser mountains. You go up 300 steps from the car park and walk along the "secret" valley for 20 minutes (no cars) to reach the resturant. Food is Bayern or Tirol and all of the menu is enjoyable. If you visit of an evening meal , take a torch - even in summer !!!!The walk down in the dark is safe but amazing when Kufstein comes into view - wow !

Certainly an outstanding location in combination with a good restaurant. Service is excellent and as always in Austria very polite. We were there with a group of nearly 40 people. Nevertheless the food was served nearly in the same time and was warm and tasty. Make sure to have a tour in the fortress before you have dinner there. Very recommendable.

Headed up the Brentenjoch mountain with the Kaiserlift chair lift in Kufstein and took the short walk from the chair lift station up to the Weinbergerhaus to enjoy the views. Initially had only intended to have a drink but as it was almost 12:00 we decided to have food. I had the Wiener Schnitzel with potatoes - it was huge! One of my friends had Kaiserschmarrn which could have easily fed 3 people it was so big and another friend had the salad with chicken breast pieces and a fried egg. All of the food was freshly prepared and all of us were very pleased with our food. Usually you don't get much of a choice in terms of food atop a mountain purely because of the logistics of delivering all the ingredients but the menu offered a lot of choice. The hosts are also very friendly and welcoming. All in all, well worth a visit!

Stayed here for one night, family of four, had a very nice and spacy room with 2 separate beds for the teenagers which they loved as they were kind of built into the wall. Very clean although oldfashioned bathroom, breakfast was nice and plentiful.

Enotheka o.k. but not a ristorante! Misleading Info by most participants. As a restaurant serving food it is not worth mentioning. But if one wants some good Italian-style antipasti it is excellent. Only few dishes, one main lunch dish, some pasta suggestions and cold antipasti like vitello tonato etc. cut sausage and bacon, tasty bread it is good. Prices are moderate. Quantity is more than average. Service polite.

For locals this is somewhere you go for a special occassion. It is more modern than country style ( or modern country? ).Food was delicious and some meals in little untypical variations. a Bit more expensive but worth the price for the qualityDear Natascha! Thanks a lot for your awesome evaluation! We appreciated your visit as well and are happy that you liked our interior.See you soon!Greets from Kufstein

Living on fresh air and love - it's not possible - but you can try out our inimitable restaurant in Kufstein In an informal, laid-back atmosphere we serve not only original creations from Tyrolean and Viennese cuisine, but also steaks, grilled on hot lava
Of course, the steak made of Austrian beef was great too. Staff very friendly and helpful. The decor is traditional and interesting. But the highlight was for sure the desert Kaiserschmarrn. It was unlike any other that weâd tried in Vienna or other parts of the country. It was not as âfluffyâ as a typical pancake that was made with lots of flour. It had a unique egg taste to it which was to die for. A must try and I wish that the chef never changes his/ her recipe!!!

Went here with a group, which was recommended by our hotel. The overall setting has a relaxing feel, which was perfect after a day of skiing. Everyone enjoyed the food that they ordered. I got their appetizer platter which was a good assortment to try. The only issue is that the food did take a long time to get out. We did have a large group, but it didn't help that there was only one waiter for all of us. If I go again, I might try it with a group of 4-6 people versus 20+.Thank you very much for your recommend. It's not always easy to prepare fresh dishes for a bigger group togheter. We are sorry that you were waiting so long. We should have offer a fixed menu for your group.Sorry.
