We were aiming for the 'Adler Wirtschaft'; but it was closed. Zum Krug is exactly what you expect of a traditional village hotel/restaurant: all heavy, dark oak furniture and panelling. The food likewise: not bad; but somewhat over-salted, and with an excess of rich saucing. My colleague's Wiener Schnitzel she described as 'average'.The wine list was almost exclusively Rhein riesling, with small later sections labelled 'non-Riesling' and even - horribile dictu - red wines. The price was Euros 55 for the two of us - quite reasonable, for such a touristy village.Overall: adequate; not memorable.

Have been here several times for business. Huge spaces, but most of time, it is crowded. Not a large selection of food, but okay. I do not drink, so could not comment on its drink menu, but my colleagues seem to enjoy its beer every time when we visit. Typical German food. In Summer, it has nice outdoor seatings too.

Surprising to me to find in a small town like Ingelheim a nice fine restaurant. This is as small restaurant (maybe 8-10 tables only). As soon as you arrive you notice the nice setup of the table. The indoor wooden decoration made it also very special, allowing some tables to have a little more independent area.I was not able to try the variety of typical German meat options as I don't eat meat. They had a good amount of seafood and even vegetarian options.Price, compared to US might be a little high but reasonable and standard for Germany. The local wine passed the test too.

Donât expect great food here. This is average German food not necessarily utilizing fresh ingredients. Everything seems to come with the same kind of rich, creamy sauce. I felt a bit reminded of canteen food also when looking at the dessert buffet. The service was almost overly friendly or a bit too talkative, but well intentioned. The best thing is therefore the location, you can watch tigers in a big cage just next door. Situated up on a hill next to the Bismarck tower you have a great view over the Rhine valley and the Rheingau on the other side when the sky is clear. There is also a small playground if you come with small kids

Have been here a few times with colleagues for dinner. It is always crowded. Waiters (waitresses) are always helpful. Good number of choices from the menu. One of my colleagues always orders Salmon when she is here. I like the grilled vegetables. The location is very convenient, near train station, right next next to the plaza. If you drive, there are also plenty of parking spaces. Local Riesling is always good!

Kleines Restaurant mit guter Küche. Auch Catering
A small restaurant in Oestrich-Winkel that serves Italian cuisine. Everything was made from fresh. Great meals, great atmosphere and great values. The patio sitting provides intimate surrounding with large trees, candles, but most of all, the tables aren't so closed to each other so no eavesdropping of the neighbor's conversation. If I had to critic, the only think I could think of is the lack of parking space. We had to park 2 blocks away from this tiny restaurant. But all in all it was best!

We were there with four persons to have some coffee at 4:30 p.m., and decided to take some Tarte Flambée we were told to be delicious. Not a good decision... We waited more than one hour for the tartes, one of us chose a salad with roasted turkey hen which had been forgotten to prepare and to serve. I like spicy food, but my tarte was too salty. While we were waiting the people at the neighbour table left without having ordered, because it lasted too long. Henry's want to be a small coffeehouse also serving some snacks. The ambience is very nice and also the idea is nice, but there is too less staff to serve the round about 40 people who will find place there. I will never try again.

This restaurant is located in an old German house. They offer Croatian and German dishes which are pretty good. Especially people who love steak should go there. The prices are good too.
