Season is a really cool restaurant with extremely well tasting food. We especially enjoyed the starters which were delicious. Portions are well sized and prices are reasonable for the quality of food you can expect. We will definitely be back!

Here is the short summary for those that like it compact:Good:- Clean and spacious room- Friendly and helpful staff- Good breakfast- really tasty dinnerNot so good:- No elevator- Choices of desertsBad:- nothing to our experienceRecommandable:- AbsolutelyAnd now the long summary:Upon arrival the check on was quick and we went up to the room in second floor.Room was spacious and clean. The room we had was also well maintained.Bed was comfortable and typical German twin bed with the gap between the two mattresses as in Germany, as in many other European countries, king size bed with just one mattress are not so common.Additional pillows where provided on request.Bathroom was clean, size was within what I would call standard - maybe a little larger than usually. The staff was very friendly from start to end. They helped with the luggage, provided information for my wife to go shopping and Christmas market and advised that on Friday morning check out could take longer since all guests will leave (hotel closed during Xmas, Restaurant would stay open on 26/27 and really busy). The hotel was nicely decorated with Christmas themes and has the charm of a family run hotel.Wlan was steady and quite quick as well as included in the hotel price. A pleasant surprise in Europe where still many hotels charge exorbitant for internet connection.Breakfast was good in choice and quality. The scrambled eggs where a pleasant surprise as they where fluffy and creamy even though kept in a warning pan! Some of the best I ever had in Germany!!My wife loved the salmon that was available as well (Don't know if that is standard part of their breakfast). The restaurant was quite busy and we learned from other guests that reservation is recommended- even if you are staying in the hotel!!The reason became quite obvious soon.Food was excellent! They have own farm for deer, sheep and cow. For other products they also seem to be carefully selecting their suppliers and that pays off.You may also purchase some of their products to take home as did we. And they where very much liked by those we gave them to...The choices of deserts however was disappointing! Mainly icecream which was not homemade either...I would have loved to see just a few typical, local deserts which would have been a perfect finish for the great main dishes we had.Should we be in the area again we certainly would choose to stay here again and can recommend it to others as well.

This is not a main-street location, but worth visiting. You will have to know this restaurant to find it.The food is very good mid-german type of food, but very well prepared. The service is fine and the price is good.

Traditional german style. Some 15 types of schnitzel! Reasonable prices. Excellent beer. The waitress speaks no English, but is fluent in Russian :) would definitely go there again!
