Everything you would expect from this sort of restaurant: quite a traditional menu but with a splash of creativity; old-fashioned décor but tastefully done; good service and nicely-prepared food. PLUS it's next to the Dechsendorfer Weiher (separated by the road). If you want to sit inside at the weekend during the winter you may want to reserve as it can get busy. Sit outside in the summer!

Restaurant is conveniently located in the city center, and has great options. Meat was perfect and staff was really nice.

Steinbach is a great brewery, with two kinds of beer seasonally available. It is delicious, and the hall is a fun place. Of all the beer in Erlangen, this is definitely my husband's favorite.

Ohne reservieren geht in beiden Bereichen nichts !!

Beautiful gardens and extremely child friendly. Good franconian food and beer. They have a gorgeous indoor barn that can be used for events or big groups. Worth the short drive out into the countryside.

Frau Schoderer, thank you! Your brisk, down-to-earth, matter-of-fact friendliness was the best possible accompaniment to a wonderful lunch. We'd set out late in the morning from Prague, heading for Aachen. With not a clue to where we might wind up -- knowing only that it was time to eat -- we turned off the motorway. Adelsdorf, eh? "Noble village", we mused. A good omen? Good or bad, it was the closest named location; so we shrugged and pointed the car's nose as the signs directed. "The Three Crowns," I said to my companion when we'd reached the middle of town. "A hotel restaurant... well, let's give it a try." Oh, we were glad we'd found Adelsdorf! A sunlit dining room'; new wine (Federweisser), prickling sweetly on our tongues as the yeast worked its magic; then duck breast with dumplings, carrots, and orange sauce -- for my companion, pear-and-Gorgonzola ravioli with a handsome green salad -- and, Frau Schoderer, your smiling, big-sisterly presence, making us feel the most welcome of guests. A perfect, a memorable meal. (Thank you, by the way, for the spoon to get every last drop of the duck gravy: Without it, I'd have been tempted to lick my plate.)Does Adelsdorf know what a treasure it has in the Three Crowns? I hope so.

I'm exploring all breweries in Franconia and today I went to this one in Neuhaus-Adelsdorf. The location is also a hotel (Gasthaus) and is very cozy, I liked a lot, also the beer is good as most of the beer here in Franconia but I was quite disappointed with the food, to much oil! I tried the Bierbrauer schnitzel and was brighting because of oil, also the flavor was compromised because of the oil. The menu does not offer too many local dishes but they have some good options. Another surprise was the price for a craft beer from Maisel and Friends that normally costs 4,99⬠a bottle in a Supermarket but their costs 12â¬, that is too much for that beer.
