Went there for a November dinner, party of four with a reserved table, good thing it was as the place was nearly full on a Thursday evening. Great menu choices, very smart and helpful staff. Despite the fullness we felt pandered to. The food was truly excellent. High recommend.

Herberg Binnen is a nice lokaal restaurant where all kinds of people are welcome to have lunch and/of diner for a nice price. The accommodation is located in the centre of Egmond-Binnen, and has a homely and cosy interior. We have menu's in German and Eng
Not a posh restaurant, great to take your family to. Meals are of good standard and if something is not as you expected it will be corrected without a problem. Stayed a bit longer than usual due to the pleasent atmosphere.

The place looks nice, nice interior and setting on the canal. Also very friendly staff. You need to wait an hour and 10' before you get your starter. The food was terrible. My Peking duck came without plum sauce and was extremely salty and the chicken tajine was just a chemical ready meal just warmed up in the microwave and again very salty. And they serve chips with mayonnaise with everything which shows the level of the place...All of this for around â¬50 pp. The toilets were disgusting, see picture enclosed just as the terrace, full with cigarettes buts. To be avoided.

Despite the nice weather we were able to get a table. The restaurant has a nice athmosphere with friendly staff. The menu is compact with fish, meat and vegetarian dishes. There is a good wine card and our wine (Sanoma County Zinfandel) was great. This restaurant deserves to be in the top spot in Bergen!

Sitting under parasols on a hot summers day, doggies laying under the table and enjoying the atmosphere! The service is attentive and friendly, the food is healthy and tasty. We each had a salad, which was a generous portion and we did not leave the table hungry... a lovely place for a relaxed meal.

The food was good quality and large portions. We were with a very big group so considering this the service was OK, although a bit hasty. I can recommend the carpaccio as appetizer. The food was not specially sophisticated so I would qualify this as a good representative of Dutch beach restaurant style food.

This was our first visit to Wildschut and opted for the Albert Heijn promotional menu. Although choice was limited we expected that but the promotion gave us a chance to try out the food at Wildschut and we were very impressed. A diverse selection of starters was exceptionally good and well presented. The main of entrecôte was nicely cooked and well presented on the plate. Desert was a nice finishing touch. Sides of bread, frites and salad made the whole meal very satisfying and of excellent value. Staff were excellent, giving very good service. Only slight negative was the noise level of conversation in the part of the restaurant we were in - sometimes difficult to hear each other across the table. Will definitely be back.

This restaurant is slightly at the edge of the historic centre, meaning removed from the tourist crowds. The staff was welcoming and very accommodating. We started with drinks (great beer from the island of Texel) and they prepared us a special cheese platter. We then had a variety of dishes, including a juicy and excellently prepared sirloin steak. The atmosphere is nice and quiet, and we left the hotel after digestives in a very good mood.

We visited this restaurant in our hometown after making a reservation utilizing a Groupon-like action from a large supermarket-chain. Every second diner gets a free meal with the coupon. We were somewhat surprised to find out this only applied to one special menu with set choices but not to the a la carte menu of the place. Understandable but not well communicated in advance. The food itself was of excellent quality although the portions were clearly adjusted to fit the coupon action. In the end, the value for money was not what we expected.Service in the restaurant was very friendly and professional, however the kitchen "forgot" our order which we only found out after having waited some 40 minutes for our soup starter. The waitresses went out of their way to apologize and offered us a coffee on the house after dinner to make up for it.In the end, this was a reasonable experience but I'd like to go back one more time to see whether the regular menu would be different and the wait was acceptable.
