Restaurant Houdini, which is part of the hotel, offers its hospitality to visitors in search of culinary values. This restaurant's menu, marked by the style of the young and creative chef, Michal Škrabák, reflects the influence of European cuisines. Houdi
I visited Houdini restaurant part of 5 star Hotel Marrol's for lunch on a day trip from Vienna to Bratislava.I was looking for a set lunch deal, that had some good variation/options,that had good reviews and offered a competitive price. After extensive research on Trip Advisor I chose Houdini restaurant.I am so glad that I did as it was a 5 star experience from start to finish.Amazing food, fantastic service and smart, elegant setting.Set Lunch is served from 12p.m-3p.m.We arrived at 2.20p.mish,so relatively late but at no stage were we rushed by the staff.I chose:chicken soup, veal with dumplings and had crepes for dessert.I was fully satisfied with every dish. The chicken soup was rich and flavoursome and freshly poured for us with style by our waiter at our table. My mains was first class, melt in the mouth tender veal and divine potato dumplings, marinated in a great sauce.I left nothing in the plate.Crepes were enjoyable as well.3 great courses for just 14.5 euros, this was accompanied by a nice beer.I was more than happy to tip as the food and service was exceptional. This experience was one of the best parts of our day Trip to Bratislava. Thanks Houdini Restaurant.

We arrived at 13:45 and the waiter told us that we could only order the daily meal because a large group would arrive soon. We sat down and the waiter arrived after a few minutes with a terrible soup and he went away (for the second times) without asking if we wanted something to drink. Fortunately we had a little bottle of water that we drunk during the all lunch (I want underline that the costumer saw our bottle but he didn't ask us if we wanna something to drink). After ten minutes (in which we didn't know what to do, because we didn't know in what the daily menu consisted) he arrived for the third time with a spicy goulash (but I don't like spicy food so when I sat down I asked him if there was something spicy in the daily dishes and he told me that there wasn't, so I couldn't eat my meal). In the and, we had to attend 10 minutes at the cash desk waiting to pay this terrible lunch (and the costumer saw us us different times but he didn't care). We were absolutely disgusted by the meals (my boyfriend that likes spicy said that the goulash was acid and it didn't taste well) and by attitude of the costumers. It was chip but I honestly prefer to pay something more but don't go away still hungry.

Fast and friendlyemployees. The seating area outside is with nice view to the Castle and generally relaxing.Dishes were paced very well.Maybe you should try out some other sort of beer, "Hubertus" was not my favorite one). But all in all we were very satisfied. Will definitely come again.

Nice place to visit for a snapshot of the local food. The service is great, staff are very helpful and friendly and the prices are very reasonable. Food was presented very well and the both dishes tasted delicious. A must if you are in town. Dear dominicemery,I would like to thank you both for your visit and feedback!Good luck!Viktor

The GLOBO Restaurant & Wine Bar looks no different than many restaurants from the outside, with a large outdoor café area. Thatâs where the similarity ends. The restaurant is a perfect combination of comfortable ambiance, attentive service and inventive tasty food. The wine selections for the pairings were excellent and are an indication that Slovakian wines are the equal to any and should be taken seriously. Our âtasting menuâ meal started with a series of colorfully decorative butters with home-baked sour-dough bread. This was followed by â5 Textures of Cucumberâ as a salad starter (accompanied by Matyšák Sekt Brut Natur). Itâs tomato season and the next dish was a spherical goat cheese ball surrounded by what seemed as a tomato skin on a confetti of tomatos with basil oil (accompanied by Matyšák Sauvignon 2018). Next came a great Cream of Roasted Tomatoes, Ricotta cheese with all sorts of interesting and colorful bits floating in it (accompanied by Matyšák Ryzling Rýnsky 2015 Limited). The fish dish was a black/white sesame seasoned fresh cod with zucchini prepared three ways teriyaki (accompanied by Matyšák Chardonnay 2013 Limited). The âmainâ course was a fillet mignon sized portion of dark Duck Breast, Duck Liver, Celery, Carrot, Truffle surrounded by a number of delightful molecular gastronomy items (accompanied by Matyšák Frankovka Modrá 2015). The desert was a golf ball sized chocolate truffle filled with liquid chocolate on a bed of raspberries (accompanied by Matyšák VeltlÃnske Zelené -Ice wine 2016).Every dish was beautiful and the taste of every dish exceeded its appearance. While the meal was not inexpensive, it cost far less than an equivalent experience would in most other European capitals and is therefore a good value. Needless to say, I would recommend this restaurant. Even if just passing through Bratislava on a river cruise for the day, I would try to email for a lunch reservation (though, Iâm not sure if the lunch availability is as elaborate as the dinners).

Maybe we hit a very off night but very poor experience here. Service is shocking and food is solid at best. Asked to see tasting menu 3 times with no joy, then finally got it and first course arrived a moment later even though we hadnât ordered yet! Local fizz was strange and served warm (but in ice bucket), still water was sparkling, took ages to get the bill. Restaurant was half full (see, Iâm a positive person!) on a Friday night and easy to see why.
Place is located outside of village and is combination of butcher with meet products, bakery and restaurant. You can buy here lot of delicious sausages, bacon, smoked meat and also bakery products. And you can also eat here very cheap. Wiener schnitzel, Tafel spitz and others are very tasty. They serve also one house beer. If you are near step in and enjoy.

After visiting Devin Castle we discovered a fantastic home run restaurant next to the castle. We really enjoyed slovakian cuisine. Friendly staff, divine food, large portions and it's all reasonably priced. Definitely would recommend this great restaurant to people visiting Devin.

I can not say anything positive or negative about this restaurant. The owner was a lovely lady and at the beginning i thought i would have had a very good dinner. However, it ended up with an average one. No, the food was not bad but there was nothing special either. The beetroot soup was very interesting. I had never had one so i decided to try but it was too unusual for my taste. The maincourse was very similar to Tafelspitz but again there was nothing distingusihing. It had an average taste. Tiramisu that came at the end was not very attractive either. If you are in Hainburg for any reason, you may want to try this restaurant, but if you don't you will not miss anything, honestly speaking.
