I used to visit this restaurant with my parents in 1977-1980 when we lived in Berlin. I found it again during a Berlin trip some years ago and was delighted to see that it was still open. Simple menu but nicely cooked food and well-kept beer at sensible prices. Plenty of menu choices and children's meal available too. Plenty of outside tables but, as will all German restaurants, too much Marlboro smoke. So I sat inside and enjoyed the decor and ambience. I will visit again when I return.

Raymons Fish Restaurant is not a restaurant you will walk by if you are just touring Berlin as it is west in Spandau. But if you have the time it is worth trip. The location is premier and I have never had fish prepared so perfectly anywhere in the world. The selection of wine as also perfect to go with each dish. A truly wonderful experience. http://www.raymons.de/

Food was Ok, Iâd probably go back if I was in Spandau since restaurant is adjacent to UBahn and convenient. Giant schnitzel, nice seasonal salad. Seating was comfortable and staff was pleasant. No raves but simply ok.

This was an excellent experience. An easy booking from a warm and enthusiastic maitre Dee who translated the options for us. The food was great. Fresh homemade bread with fennel seeds. The pumpkin soup starter was delicious on a cold wet October evening. The main was chicken and really nice. The pudding was a plumb and Carmel creation. It worked! What excited me about this restaurant was the amount of moving specials not a fixed set menu. The wine was good. The price overall was reasonable but the experience was great and must visit for food lovers.

3 Museen in unmittelbarer Nähe.
We have visited "Eselin" to celebrate our marriage anniversary with my wife and 4-month-old son. At first we were concerned that after "Eselin" has moved from the waterfront, the experience would be subpar, but we were mistaken. The garden is amazing and very relaxed, the staff friendly and easy-going and the food delicious.

During our trip at the zitadelle we stayed in this restaurant just to have a coffe on the go. The location inside is amazing, fornitures make you live like in the old times and the service is very nice. Try this restaurant, even just for a coffee it deserves to be visited!

I have been living in Berlin for almost 6 years now and can honestly say that after trying a lot of different places nowhere comes close to competing with the Strassenbahndepot in Heiligensee (which has compelled me to write a review!).Firsty, and most importantly to me, the meat served is "Neuland fleisch" which means you can be 100% certain that you eat quality meat from animals who have had an ethical life outdoors. Naturally you have to pay a little more (do you ever ask yourself where the food on your plate comes from?), but the taste and tenderness of the food is astounding. The wine selection is terrific. The waitors will expertly guide you through the menu. The serivce is five star. The menu speaks for itself (you can see this online) and every meal I have tried over the past year has left me extremely satisfied. If you are someone who just wants as much food on their plate for as little money as possible then don't go here. But if you simply love good food, want to try something new and care about what you eat then try the Strassenbahndepot, you will not regret it!

Charming little restaurant on the west side of Berlin, located on the shores of a small lake and close to Centrovital, a hotel/fitness center... Chef wiped up a vegetarian dish (off the menu) that was delightful, and recommended a lovely, light red wine that matched the dish perfectly. Lunch for 2, 80 Euro with wine. Very worthwhile. NOTE: they do not accept international credit cards (as so many places in Germany), make sure you have cash in the wallet.

I was visiting my family and enquired about a " typical " German restaurant with a Bavarian style of cuisine. This Brauhaus in Spandau was mentioned and we wereon our way !!Normally , we would have to order a table but tonight lady luck was on our side !!The restaurant was crowded and the aroma of German cuisine lingered in the air!! We ordered plenty of beer and the Rinderroulade with Sauerkraut was delicious !! All prices are very reasonableand you won't have any regrets leaving the center of Berlin to taste this specialcuisine !
