Excellent, knowledgeable and friendly service combined with well presented, quality food. Cosy informal and stylish interior. I recommend the beer menu and especially the local beers to accompany your meal. Ask the staff for recommendations! An ideal location for couples or large groups alike.

We were there last November, just wanted to try some different from kebap cuisine. The service is immaculate, the owners are very pleasant people and the Polish food there is extremely delicious. We haven't tried anything else from their extensive menu, however they have pasta, kebap and few other dishes. The prices are perfectly fine. Today for 3 beers, 2x6 Pierogi and 1 plate of 4 Placki we paid 32 EUR.I totally recommend this place!

Enjoy delicious dishes in our à la carte restaurant 'In de Oude Watermolen' with its welcoming bistro next door. Our menu offers a wide variety of dishes, such as cave-aged cheese and Mergelland lamb. You can also choose the perfect Limburg wine to suit y
Stayed in this hotel restaurant for one night. Went to the bar-bistro first for a drink and appetisers. The glass of beer was almost more foam than beer. An unacceptable "head". The waitress did apologise after complaining and topped up the glass. The bitter ballen were small, industrial, half empty and the mustard came out of a cheap paper sachet. And all this in a 5 star Establishment. Very bad indeed.Contrary to this experience the main restaurant was very good although we had to wait a long time for the menu and breads. Excellent creative dishes which were very well presented and were delicious too. Professional staff. All well here. So, judged together, on balance: Average

We had a great lunch at La Becasse in Aachen. After more than 20 years this restaurant is still excellent and provides amazing food with a phantastic wine selection. The lunch is a 3 course menu with amuse geul, intermediate and changes daily.

I had a wonderful day with my family at the Entenpfuhl. After a long walk through the forest, there is nothing better than a warm coffee and a piece of cake !!

We went to the restaurant for Sunday Lunch. We had three courses from the a la carte menu. Unfortunately they do not offer wine arrangements and the choice of open wines is rather limited. The starters (Foie Gras with "Sauerkraut" and Scampi in Lobster sauce) were both very good indeed. When we asked for more bread the Lady in charge did not seem too pleased, but brought some more bread to the table . The main courses were ok. While the meat (venison and rabbit) was very good- sadly each main course was drowned in far too much starchy sauce.Desserts were very nice (Nutcake with ice cream and dried fruit & Millefeulle). Overall it was a nice lunch, but too expensive (158,45 â¬). The service did don't match the food nor the standard of the restaurant.P.S. Dogs are allowed in the restaurant - we were unlucky that two customers (different tables) had decided to bring their rather large dogs with them. Both dogs barked like crazy each time the owners cat walked past. Not nice!

Mirabela is one of those restaurants that surprises and is definitely worth visiting. Located some 20 minutes from Aachen in the small town of Roetgen, it is easy to find and there is free car parking. From entering the restaurant the service was friendly and attentive. While the menu was in Germany only, the waiter made suggestions and gave advice in English. The restaurant has a deliberate Mediterranean feel, and is open and relaxed. We started with beef carpaccio and a marinated goats cheese salad (drizzled with a Balsamic vinegar sauce). The taste and presentation were excellent and of a level that you would expect to find (if lucky) at much more expensive restaurants. For the main courses, my son and I had Argentine rindfilet (which I think translates into tenderloin) while my wife had prawns. All were perfectly cooked and full of flavour to the extent that our teenage son cleared his plate including vegetables! The complete meal of two starters, three mains (and not the least expensive on the menu), several glasses of house Pinotage wine, cola and mineral water came to 111⬠- which for the total experience we considered to be excellent value - we talked about it all the way home! Mirabela is now our preferred "local".

When you travel Europe, you should consider to stay some days in Belgium. They have a large selection of first class Restaurants and they refined the French way of cooking to perfection. In eastern Belgium, near the German border, is a very special small first class Restaurant. It's called Casino, located in Eynatten. Easy to find on the right hand main street side with a few parking lots in front of the Restaurant. There are many more parking lots on a large place when you pass the Restaurant about 50m next to the church on the right hand side. The Restaurant can only handle 22 guests at once and I suggest to make a table reservation. Especially during the weekend when all locals enjoy lunch or dinner. This is their way of life and a regular Restaurant visit is a must for them.Since we now this place, we understand them completely. The Team welcomes guests like Family friends and sitting in the small room gives a livingroom feeling. The menu changes on a regular base and is adapted to the season. We started with two glasses of Champagne and ordered the gastronomic Menu. The daily wine suggestion included a great Sauvignon Blanc. The bottle price of 24,50⬠was very friendly compared to the delivered quality. I had quite often more expensive bottles less impressive. They seem to have a great wine supplier. The five course Menu starts with a welcome from the kitchen. The Menu itself includes a selection between three starters, three or four first course meals, a fresh prepared Sorbet, three or four main courses and a selection of Desserts or cheese you have to choose from. We started with Serrano ham with two sorts of melon. The ham was delicious and of excellent quality. For the first course, we ordered fried plaice fillets with a delicate Tartar Sauce accompanied by a small mixed side salad. The fish was perfectly fresh, cooked to the point and the combination with the Tartar Sauce gave a great taste. The Sorbet was made from Rhubarb and was refined with Wodka. Very refreshing and delicious. Our main course was baby monkfish with Thyme Sauce stuffed with sweet baby onions. Everything was perfect. My wife ordered the sweet Dessert which was, that day, a Black Forest cherry Parfait and glas filled with a small special Black Forest cherry pie creation.Very good! I ordered the local cheese selection with a glas of old Port wine. As well, perfect. The wonderful meal was closed with double Espressos. This Restaurant is definitely one of of our top places. Even we have to drive one hour by car, we'll be there as often as possible.

Paparazzi is centrally located in the heart of Eupen city centre. It is certainly nice to sit outside in the summer. Seafood, meat and pasta in this restaurant are of good quality but not impressive. The staff are friendly and efficient. One thing that you need to note is that this restaurant is right next to a church and the chime is sometimes too loud and lasts too long.

Passed Eupen and stopped here for lunch, because of the terrace. Good service, nice located and quite good food. More German than Belgium, which makes it more fun. Worth a shot!
