It should have another name ...the Salmonella Csarda - thats what the locals call it. Do not go here if you want good food or service. After I ordered my dish the waiter brought me something completely different and wehn I complained they told me this was all they had !! Amazing - thye told me that what I had originally ordered had run out so they decided to give me something else instead. And it was awful.Sta away !!

My Son and I had lunch at this wonderfully cool and clean restaurant - The meat platter for two was superb! - With beer and drinks all-in at under 20 Euro it was exceptional value ; Just round the corner from our hotel, it was a very easy walk to Next Restaurant - Service was good ; If you're cycling through Esztergom, pop in and enjoy their hospitality ;

Nobody was in the restaurant when we entered (it was Friday evening, dinner time) - and it would not be a problem, BUT... - it was smelly inside - food was not really good and also not fresh - toothpick was not available- staff was not really motivatedSummarized: not so many guests were there (only both of us) but they do not make any efforts to have more guests.

A very nice and cosy place in which for around â¬4 we had a 3-course set menu, deliciously prepared, with soup, tender spare ribs and a cake. Service was very good too. Would definitely recommend.

Our cousin brought us here for breakfast while we were visiting. The views were amazing! The animals were fun to interact with. The food was delicious, staff was friendly. We are happy he took us there. Highly recommend!

The pictures along the other reviews tell the whole story about this place. Decent food, and lots of it! Still not really great value for money, since the dishes are somewhat expensive for a small Slovak city. Some allergy information is different on the English and Slovak menus, so ask for both if you need that!

A few steps from the cathedral it is possible to park without problem, large terrace. The food particularly the knuckle was amazing. The knuckle dish with potato and an XL-size baked sauce for three people can feed four. The rations in general are plentiful and of great quality. The treatment is professional and correct. We would repeat without a doubt. Recommended in Trip and by the local people. Congratulations for your work

Before the 1-day trip to Esztergom, I read the reviews. I confirm all positive reviews - the place is really a gem. Conveniently situated under the Cathedral. You cannot miss it when coming from the Maria Valeria bridge. Perfect service, delicious meals, not expensive if you take in mind the high quality. Highly recommended.

Stop here. You have come far enough. Do not be tempted by the excitement of the unknown. This is literally the only restaurant worth trying in Esztergom. Lovely setting under the basilica and phenomenal food. A true standout in a town otherwise serving bland roadside campground fare. So make that trek up the hill and treat yourself to their deliciously balanced rosé when you get there.
