After the steep climb up over the ridge from Lake Eibsee in Germany, this was a most welcome rest stop, especially as the sun had just come out. Stayed here for an hour prior to continuing to Ehrwald, and although the food looked great I only had a few Radlers (Shandies). Service was great. Thank you!

We stayed at the Post for 5 days with our son, to enjoy a winter holiday and to celebrate our 8 years anniversary as a couple. I have travelled extensively in Austria and have stayed in many 4 and 4s hotels, yet this one is truly one of the best. We could find no flaw. The room was beautiful, the room view breathtaking, the bathroom and amenities of 5 star quality, the pool that opens up to find yourself swimming by the snow an experience of its own. All three of us, including our 6-year old boy, could not have enough; a month has passed since we returned and my son keeps talking about the hotel and asks when we will return. The food was also of 5 star quality and so much that we really did not have the lunch offered, it was impossible to consume anything more between the magnificent breakfasts and dinners. One thing only that I would not agree on with others who have written a review, is the staff's overall personal approach to service. With the exception of the waiter that served us 3 out of our 5 days (l'm sorry that I cannot recall his name but he was exceptional) everyone was polite and helpful but kept a distinct distance. Perhaps it was just us, we were really tired and needed some space and perhaps it showed; nevertheless "personal" would not be the word I would use to describe service. To be absolutely fair, we generally do not enjoy a very "cosy" service so we didn't really mind the aforesaid, but I did want to point it out. Overall, the hotel's management - which is actively involved in everything, I noticed - deserves a lot of credit. We had an unforgettable vacation and we will certainly return.

Holiday time is gourmet time. At least in our 180° restaurant at PURE Apart-Hotel in Lermoos. There our chef Theo and his team will prepare exquisite Tyrolean specialties, Austrian home-style dishes and ingenious recipe creations just for you. With attent
OK, the decor is great, and beautiful view on the mountains. The cakes and the chocolates are delicious. But the food is so bland and badly prepared. At least these were our experiences with 7 different dishes. It's sad because Lermoos became a poor place for restaurants.Hello Mr. MüllerThank you for your honest evaluation, we are constantly trying to improve and take any criticism seriously.Too bad they did not like our food, we only use fresh local ingredients and everything is freshly made.We would be glad if you give us the opportunity to show you that we are a good restaurant.best regardsTheo Hofherr

I stumbled upon this restaurant whilst searching for restaurants in the area on Google. A restaurant I would recommend to everyone visiting the area. The staff were in incredible from the beginning - the chef even came out to run us through the German menu. It's a small, warm and cozy venue with a intimate vibe. The steak with vegetables is a must! Along with the Speckknodelsuppe, and traditional Austrian dish we also loved. I hope to visit again one day.

Been there many many times, and this new TirolerHaus is awesome. Great place to chill, massive sundeck, 4 bars that cater for pretty much everyone. Really good for novice skiers and the 'off piste tricksters' too.Food is great in all the 'restaurants'(haven't eaten in the umbrella bar) and very good VFM and the staff are really nice too.

A hut, nicely situated; I walked to it several times and ate well enough there. Typical stick-to-your-ribs alpine food. I'd be happy to see it on any hike, but it's really what one should expect from Tyrol. They don't do these things badly.

In a recent stay in Ehrwald we were recommended this restaurant for dinner. It was a fine evening so we were able to sit outside. The service was excellent as was the fare. In short a memorable experience and we can only but endorse the recommendation.

The menu was reduced early at 1 pm and the upper floor was closed because it was "already prepared for the dinner guests". But: the Cheeseburger with Bacon was one of the best ever! ...and so huge...much more than a snack!
