Was will man mehr? MS

I can't find exact location of the restaurant. Poor German kitchen. Nothing special or worth to annotate.
ArtCulinar ist die TOP-Empfehlung für Catering! Mit seiner umgebauten Feuerwehr macht er BBQ zum echten Erlebnis!!! Auch im Landratsamt fallen ihm immer wieder tolle Gerichte ein!

We visit my parents every year as I grew up in this area and we have our usual suspects of restaurants we visit. This time we tried something new, because we heard that the chef is excellent of the "Adler". We were very pleased with the food, we were six people with six different courses and each one of them rated their experience as excellent. It was truly delicious and having grown up in this area, I told my parents, that "there are really no bad kitchens in the Black Forest". Well, this one stood out. We will be back next visit.

Chefkoch Manuel Ulrich kreiert hier mit seinem Team eine moderne französische Küche, die auf besten Produkten und handwerklich perfekter Zubereitung basiert.
Wonderful food - the tastes were quite amazing - very intense well harmonized and balanced. Portions sizes were well selected - giving enough to fully experience the flavours without saturation or overdoing it. The wines were well selected and adapted to the menu - we give the culinary experience 5+ points. The service was good, but certainly not as exceptional as one would expect from such a fine dining experience. The waiters often reached across the table to serve us, gave us partially incorrect information to the food/wines, we had to ask twice for extra bread, etc. but in general the service was friendly, respectful and polite. On looking at the bill the next day, we also realized that they charged us an extra course for the one meal (6 course instead of 5 course plus cheese), and calculated the wrong prices for the second meal (the full 5 course menu price instead of the vegetarian 5 course menu price). The difference in price was a small percentage of the total cost, but just something that in retrospect took away some glamour from an otherwise wonderful evening that we had.Even with these minor blemishes, dinner at the Ãsch Noir is an exceptional evening, and well worth the visit.Dear guest, thanks a lot for your detailed evaluation of your evening in our restaurant. We appreciate that you really enjoyed your dinner in terms of taste and portion size as well as the selection of wines. Thanks a lot that you rated your culinary experience 5 + points even if there is some potential in service and billing.Reaching across the table to serve you or giving you incorrect information of food an wines as well as serving no extra bread, should not be the standard service in such a high class restaurant. Even if we try to give you a more casual service to feel comfortbale it should not be careless. We fully understand and regret that the wrong billing took away some glamour of the evening. This should not happen as well. Please be sure that we speak about all your points, the positive and the negative ones, with our responsible staff to improve in these areas.Dear guest, we are looking forward to welcoming you again in our resort.Best regardsAlexander AisenbreyGeneral Manager

Without doubt one of the best restaurants I've eaten in - staff were very professional whilst being warm friendly and welcoming. The service was superb and the food was fantastic, beautifully cooked and very well presented. The restaurant itself has traditional comfy and welcoming decor and has a very relaxed atmosphere. The menu is well varied, consisting of a range of gorgeous hearty traditional German fare - all perfectly cooked and presented. There is also a range of fabulous deserts but sadly we were just too full! The prices offer immense value for money and I can't recommend this place enough.Really - don't miss it!

Restaurant mit moderner heimat verbundener Küche aus den besten lokalen Produkten 12 gemütlich gestaltete Hotelzimmer zum entspannen
We stayed at die Burg for several days and had dinner during one of the evenings, for a party of sixteen. Niklas attended to us personally. Having a translated English version of the menu was a nice touch as a few of us didn't speak much German. The other serving staff were also alert and attentive. The duck, fish and steak main courses were of a high standard. It took a while for the food to be served but it was probably because the restaurant was running a full house that evening. Overall, service was good and the food was commendable. Dear daniel, thank you for your gorgeous rating and your fantastic feedback about your dinner. We are happy that you enjoyed our cuisine and the service. Thanks for your tribute to the whole team,it was a pleasure to welcoming you at our restaurant and we hope we'll see us again soon.Kind regards,Niklas Grom

We enjoyed a dinner of white asparagus (Spargel), steak and dessert. The spargel came with a cream sauce that was just excellent. Being in Germany during this seasonal dish,we had many sauces and this was the best. The steak was a small thick fillet, perfectly cooked, and very tender. We appreciated the emphasis on quality rather than quantity. (The portions in many German restaurants are too large and we leave a lot of food.) Very nice restaurant with white linen table clothes fresh flowers and candle. Would recommend it.

I had already been to the restaurant before and wanted to come back with a group of French friends. The food was just as good as I remembered, we had a variety of local, seasonal dishes, from peppersteak to mushrooms and maultaschen ( a sort of giant ravioli). Everybody were happy, even if it was a bit of a long wait for the food...Nice salad bar for selfservice, and our waitress was extremely friendly and patient with all the translation between French and German. The restaurant is just next to the cahedral, the Donauquelle (source of the Danube) and the very good Museum Art Plus. Will absolutely come back here.Dear Ithaca96,thank you for your positive rate. We are looking forward to see you again. Best regards,Helene Kuttruff
