Stopped here for lunch with family. The outdoor seating was very inviting, but we chose the indoor seating with comfortable air conditioning! The entire restaurant looked brand new and very well decorated. The service was decent and the food was amazing! The pasta tasted homemade and the salad with grilled beef was so savory. The additional sautéed mushrooms made it even better. They need to redesign the bathroom. There is no privacy between the men's and women's bathrooms. Strongly recommend.

This is the perfect place to eat if you are planning on swimming in Lake Caldaro as there is a lovely garden right on the lakefront and beside the swimming area. We ate here on two occasions and dress in decidedly informal. On the first occasion we had the fish with veg. and the schnitzel and chips both good. On the second occasion we had the pasta which was excellent. Service was pleasant and friendly and the wine good.

For lunch almost every day . . . always have the special, always good. Only downside . .. I should learn to not eat it all! Super casual. No table service, order at the counter.

All that wine tasting makes a good grill sound like the right thing. In this case, the restaurant was exactly what we had hoped it would be. The interior is dark and cave-like but warmed by candle light, nice table settings and friendly service. My pasta course was delicious and the grilled meat very good. We all enjoyed the meal and would return without hesitation.

The restaurant is in an enviable position, overlooking the Marktplatz, the central square of Caldaro / Kaltern, lined by historic buildings. The doubt that it will take advantage of this position to lower the offer's quality and / or raise prices, soon disappears when you taste the food.We took advantage of the day dish, the mixed grill: it was not abundant, but really tasty, accompanied by grilled vegetables. Some of us have also ordered the canederli / knodel (Tyrolean dumpling) and I consider them the best I've ever tasted.Even strudel and chestnut cake were appreciable. The total cost was fair for what we ordered: about 93 euro for four people, including a liter and a half of water and half a liter of the house wine. I definitely recommend this restaurant.

It was a bit rainy the day we stopped here on our drive through the vineyards of Kaltern, South Tyrol in Italy. From the road it's a bit inconspicuous, but I'm sure it's very popular. The biergarten appears to be the home to lots of events. I can imagine that it rocks. I can't say much about the food. We stopped just to have a drink and were delighted to discover they offer a gluten-free beer. I had two. What impressed me was how professional the staff is. They were all out drying the tables and benches and chairs when it stopped raining. They were friendly and attentive.

This stunning restaurant, serving lunch and dinner, overlooks the vineyards along the wine route (weinstrasse/Alto Adige Wine Road). I began my lunch with a delectable cream of potato soup served cleverly in a small canning jar. Smooth, creamy, and delectable. Hubby ordered a fantastic soup of the day. I enjoyed pork tenderloin served with potatoes and fresh vegetables while hubby ordered Pappardelle, freshly made and attractively served. The restaurant has lovely views over the surrounding vineyards and was quite busy the day we stopped.
