Find out what Central European restaurants to try in Bunnik. Bunnik ( pronunciation (help·info)) is a municipality and a village in the Netherlands, in the province of Utrecht. The recorded history of the village dates back nearly 2000 years, when the Romans constructed a fort at Fectio (now Vechten) with a harbour facing the river Rhine, which marked the border of the Roman Empire. The fort developed into a thriving trading centre, which continued to exist after the Romans abandoned the fort in the fourth century. Subsequently, the area was occupied by the Frisians and the Franks. In the 8th and 9th century the villages of Bunninchem (Bunnik), Lodichem (Odijk) en Wercundia (Werkhoven) developed.

On our first night in Utrecht, we had dinner in this charming restaurant overlooking one of the canals. The staff were welcoming & friendly, and took time to explain the menu to us. It's a busy restaurant, but our food was served promptly and was of a very high standard. In fact, it was so good that we went back two more times during our brief stay in the city. When next in Utrecht, we will certainly return to Graaf Floris.

I stayed here for one night on a business trip and ate in the hotel restaurant.I had schnitzel with a cheese sauce. It was pretty good and a very big portion.... Accompanied by wedges, fries, cabbage and a side salad.nearly too much food! This cost Euro 17.50 which is very good value for a hotel. There were plenty of other choices at similar price and a more expensive steak menu. Service was efficient and friendly. This is not really a restaurant you would travel to due to the location of the hotel but if you are staying here you will get a very nice meal without having to travel anywhere.

I had an asparagus and scallops starter and then their rib eye steak. Not a cheap meal but it was absolutely wonderful. I will never forget the taste of that starter!!!!! I normally take my steak rare but this was cooked through somehow while retaining the flavour of the meat. So tender you didnât need a steak knife. It literally melted in your mouth. I was there by myself at the bar but my waitress really looked after me. What a great restaurant. Thanks!

We were recommended this bar by the lady in the tourist information office, it was a wet Monday in Utrecht and most museums etc were closed. She gave excellent advice because we loved it. The cafe is in a converted church, dominated by a central bar, serving an amazing array of beer. The staff were very knowledgable and happy to make suggestions. We also tried the bitterballen to soak up the beer and they were excellent, freshly made and tasty. The chips were good too, the waiter forgot to order the chips for us and when reminded, they arrived promptly and on the house. Excellent service. We didn't have more substantial meals, but looking at the plates being delivered around us, they looked very appetising.I really liked it here and will definitely return. Lovely place.

Pleasantly surprised with the great menu. Chose the veal starter - absolutely excellent. Asparagus was on the menu so we chose the asparagus mains. No-one was dissapointed. Excellent winelist and we were also offered some wines which were not on the menu and chose the Montgras Quatro - excellent choice. The service was also friendly and attentive. This restaurant is a definate if u in the vicinity.

I went to this restaurant because of the really good reviews here in tripadvisorThe food gets 3 1/2 stars. The meat was cooked well but all in all it didn't blow my mind. The antipasta plate is OK, but it lacked freshness and ideasThe atmosphere gets 3 stars. Tables are placed wherever is space in restaurant. In the front, at the bar and in the back. Like a lot of restaurants here the place is basically run and managed by students. The wine gets 2 stars. To pay 27euros for a nero s'avolo with a screwtop, which comes in retail for 6 or 7 euros is not worthy a decent italian restaurant. Also most other wines served comes in a screwtop. I have no issue when white wine comes like this, but for red, no please. Also the wine tasted like 6 Euros, without body, aroma and taste. You are better off ordering beer.

Came in here to escape the drizzling rain and cold on the first day of Spring. It is obviously popular, and we were lucky to get a table. Helpful staff, who explained the 4 soups in English. The Pea soup was thick enough to stand a spoon in, and full of great extras like lamb, bacon and sausage. Came away with a good feeling about the place.

It's cosy and probably the position in the middle of the park makes it a trendy place to go and justify a premium price to eat.Kitchen is very elaborated French/dutch cuisine, wine list is not great and quite expensive value for money.overall not my place

Inspired by the French concept of "Table d'hotes", we serve a different five course menu for our guests, every day. In C'est Ca we always make use of organic meat, MSC certified fish and only purchase fresh seasonal produce for our daily changing dishes.
Starter reached the level of barely acceptable. Wines?? Three Euro supermarket wine on the list for 26 Euro. And then the main course, quail which was still raw on the bone. Finally, without any advanced notification, a 2 Euro supplement for three small pieces of cheap supermarket quality cheese. I know, it is only two Euro, but it is all part of their "surprise menu". Staff showed no understanding for our justified complaints. Many, really many, restaurants in the city that are worth visiting. We will never come back to this one!!!!!!
