Food was really good. Typical Czech food with a variety of choices. Location was great, right below the castle. Prices were very reasonable and food quality was good. There are lots of dining options below he castle. This one was very good.

This hotel was a pleasure to stay at. The owner & wife were extremely helpful, the room was large and clean, with a really nice bathroom. Breakfast in their 'private' dining room was excellent, whilst evening dinner was taken outside, looking up at the castle, and was equally excellent.

Very nice decor with high ceilings and fancy table setting. Waitstaff very nice. For a. Michelin restaurant, I was a bit underwhelmed. The food is of a high standard. The scallops were done very nice and were fresh. The entrees disappointed, and that is why I can not give a rating of excellent. Th sea bass came with skin that was supposed to be crisp and edible. It was; however, crisp on the edges and soft everywhere else. Not enjoyable.

During nice sunny 1st November day we went to this restaurant and found place on terrace as which was ready set for customers. I went inside just to make sure that staff see us. Finally, they refused to serve us as restaurant was full inside even we asked just for soup which must be ready :-(. Staff was kind but didnât take a second to think ...
NavÅ¡tÃvili jsme o vÃkendu poprvé a byli jsme nadÅ¡eni.

A 40 odd minute train ride from Prague will take you to Beroun, and on first impressions you may wonder why you bothered. But turn left as you leave the Train Station and follow the sign for Berounsky Medved, which you'll find incongruously in a Scrap Yard. Old Soviet era Military vehicles and an old Trabant make for an interesting approach to this excellent Brewpub. First thing to say is that the beers are excellent, some of the best you'll come across. The food is good, filling and inexpensive. If you go round the side of the building you'll see the wood fired brewery, and there aren't many of those in existence..
