K2 Cafe Restaurant is a small pleasure Restaurant with fresh and light kitchen and an english menu. For Kids we have a Play ground with lot of toys and DVD's. At Weekends we offer B'fast from 9:00 AM to 12:00 AM.
During our stay in St Martin we visited K2 three evenings in a row because it was so delicious! The venue is a cozy gem hidden in this little town! The atmosphere is modern and cozy with black and white photographs on the walls, wine shelves, and comfortable leather armchairs! The staff is friendly and polite, and on the third evening it felt like we were visiting some old friends! We tried the asparagus and parmesan soup, the beef soup, the chicken salad, Wiener schnitzel, cheeseburger, Asian wok, the chicken wrap, risotto with asparagus and fish, as well as the three sorbets! Kudos to the risotto! The best I have eaten not to mention that my partner ate half of it and he ears neither asparagus nor fish. Apparently, he eats them when they are that tasty! I can't wait to go back to K2!!!Greetings to the waiters and the chefs!

Staying locally in a chalet just outside Radstadt and visited this restaurant for dinner one evening. Lovely old hotel/restaurant with typical Austrian atmosphere. The waiter was very friendly and English was no problem as he specifically gave us an English menu. There own stegerbrau beer is very good. I had half a fried chicken with a salad. Plenty of food. The apple strudel was particularly good as a dessert. Value for money was also good as the bill was about 20 euros per head. Well worth a visit.

Have been in Flachau several times but usually eating in restaurants next to the main road. This one is situated cca 150m high on the slope. You can take regular side road to reach it or just take a straight walk from ground station of Starjet up the slope. It is proper wooden chalet type of restaurant. Rather small so you better book it up-front.The offering is great. Local food for everyone. For kids, adults, vegetarians... And good selection of Austrian wines. The soups are great. Try the garlic one or traditional veal soupe with "leber knödel".For main we had spare ribs, spätzle in a pan, winnner schnitzel... Nothing to complain. And red wine from Burgenland which was light but still with great flavour.Price-vise a bit higher than some in the area but it is worth paying.

Reserved a table at 9pm, Only main course was possible told by the waiter. Normally they serve till 10pm. Restaurant was still full and serving .So we took same dish for the 3of us.It was served very quickly, while we just had a zip of our aperitif. The lamb we were recommended was like heated up in microwave!Tasted like cooked veal, and looked as it was smashed on our plate. The Wine we ordered was served almost at the end of our meal. To bad.Good wine, but too expensive. When leaving, tried to talk with owner, but was clearly not interested in chitchats..Nice interior, Overrated.Never again.

Great location in the very centre of the village. Looks quite elegant after a recent renovation works (very much needed, it was awfully run down). Regular food and drinks. Service not great, you have to be lucky. Even the owners themselves are usually not too pleasant to regular visitors, they only seem to value locals. The garden is very pleasant in summer, they used to have musical dos, I think they stopped now, did not see them for a while.

The steaks server really good. We were a party of four and ordered a sirloin, a entrecôte and a tenderloin, all were very tasty. The pork schnitzel of the fourth member of our party was not at the same level. Service was good and prices are fair.Dear Avri!Thank you for your feedback and your time to share your impressions with us and others. We are happy that you've enjoyed the dishesand we're looking forward to welcome you again!

A little bit out of town (10 mins walk from Main Street) and in an elevated position above town. Very good quality pizzas, pasta salads etc as well as more traditional meat and fish dishes. Large dining area and a Stuberl too. Very good value for money and quality good.

A group of 4 Ate here 5th August after our Air BnB host had recommended this restaurant. We had gone out of our way to eat here, but We regretted not choosing one of the many restaurants we walked past on the way to get here.We asked the waiter to recommend us food on the menu (we have not eaten Austrian food before) but he said he wouldn't because he was too busy....Bemused by the rude service, we ended up just ordering 3x Wiener schnitzel, Pork medallions and strudel. Food was okay, we'd eaten nicer meals during our holiday. Service we found rude, the waiter did not make us feel welcome. We've never had a waiter refuse to talk to about the menu because they were 'too busy'. Needless to say we did not leave a tip.I didn't take a photo of the food as there was not much beauty to behold, so here is a photo of some cows and Dachstein mountains I took earlier in the dayDear Becky, thanks for your review. It is a pleasure that your AirBnB host recommended our restaurant. You just described a situation that happened more then a month ago, but we try our best to discuss the situation in retrospect. We are very sorry that our waiter could not recommend you food in English, but I'm honestly sure that this was an exception.Nevertheless, we will talk to our people about the topic.Be assured that we really try our best to be as hospitable as possible, not only in our restaurant but also in the hotel, and we also place great value on food quality! We would love to convince you of the quality of our service and food during your next visit in Austria.I hope you had a nice holiday and a safe trip! :-)All the best,Family Jaeger-Wenter

you need to know how to find it, it is way above in the hills, standing on its own. From Flachau you need a car or ebike. From Altenmarkt it is a very nice hike via Winterbauer. The place is very nice, very children friendly, lots of animals around, wonderful view. Average food, beverages and service
