Beach front restaurant with mediterranean and international dishes, seafood, grilled specialities, cocktails, smoothies and home made bakery. Salsa night every Friday and Live Music every Saturday.
Fabulous food, friendly attentive service, loads of vegetarian and vegan options (the tropical skewers for dinner and vegan smoothie bowls for breakkie for the win!) and sitting right on the sand with an unobstructed view of the waves. Check out the live music on Saturday nights. Disregard the opening hours on here - breakkie service starts at 7:30am.

They were recommeneded for good seafood. We have gone twice so far. They serve up large glasses of fresh fruit juices and smoothied. Tasty fresh and good value. No alcohol is for sale on the menu but apparently they don't object if you bring your own. We ordered the langostine ("lobster") and fish fillet which come out sizzling on these metal plates. They come with a plate with a good serving of rice, salad and fries to go with it. We ended up coming back because we agreed with the advice received.....good food and good value. It only has a strip of ocean view from the back but since it is pitch black at dinner time, does it really matter? So while it is not as visually fancy and the location is off from beach, the service is slow (it is everywhere but the lazy turtle - which is hilarious considering the name), this place was a favourite of ours.

We only ate food, got drinks and hung out for long periods at the beach tables (did not utilize hotel). Food is fine, nothing great but also prices on-par with other places in Las Peñitas. We never felt pressured to continue to buy buy buy while we hung out, and a small purchase of the occasional drink or snack was fine throughout the (long) day.

Ate here a few times as its a cross from our hotel. The owner was really nice and the staff were attentive. They have wifi and make great limonada mexicana. The fried shrimp (camarone empanizida) were my favorite. I didn't like the fish tacos however as they had a lot of fish bones in them. All in all a nice spot for a meal and the coldest beers we have had !
