El restaurant Llevant parte de una cocina mediterránea. Nuestro lema es combinar un servicio rápido, cercano y de calidad hacia nuestros clientes.
A lovely restaurant with an atmosphere that gives you that special feeling. The aquariums are wonderful. The menu is good too. Not your run of the mill fare here. I found myself having to 'Google' some items to find out what they were. The staff were very friendly and very efficient. The food arrived quickly too.My only complaint is that the menu says meat dishes come with a garnish. But all I got was chips whereas my wife got a few mushrooms with her dish.Vegetables are offered as an extra so you may need to ask for them.

We had the â¬20ish menu for lunch (there is also a â¬10ish menu, which looked great, for those on a budget).I was quite impressed by the food, actually, quality & quantity wise.My starter, cod with escalivada, was beautiful, fresh & tasty. The portion of paella served as main course was appetizing, generous & tasty too. It didn't look neglected like in many restaurants. On the contrary. The desserts were totally worth also. The decor is a bit "has been", but you come for the food first, and you won't be disappointed.
If your'e wondering were to eat don't miss out on this great restaurant, the food is excellent quality for a fair price. One of the few good places in Platja d'Aro, located in the center but away from the crowds. Really nice service and feel to it.Thank you for your comment, weâre glad you enjoyed it.

Restaurant La Calma is located in Platja d'Aro's maritime waterfront promenade, with an open-air dining terrace protected by the cold wind, and a chill out area with beachfront views to enjoy cocktails, tapas, full breakfast, in a very relax ambience.
Youâd be hard pressed to do better for the attentive service and the excellent food. Donât go past the lobster rice... deeelish. The Scampi are as fresh as they come. La Calma has an extensive selection of wines. I recommend trying some of their local ecological varieties. The covered outdoor patio with uninterrupted views to the Mediterranean makes for a great setting to enjoy good times. This place is a treasure. Check it out, you wonât go wrong

We arrived late but were welcomed with a smile and warm welcome. Food was wonderful and waiters truly cared for our experience. Delicious spanish food with lots and lots of sea-food. Great house wine, cozy setting and attentive service. Sadly they did not speak any English but we got along just well without any misunderstandings. Value for quality - top.I can definitely recommend this place.

Restaurante familiar, comida casera, pescados, carnes, paellas. Restaurante abierto de Abril a final de Septiembre.
So many good reviews, but so very disappointing in reality. Every thing you touch is a bit sticky, not well maintained, I guess youâd say typical touristic restaurant just out to make a buck from the seasonal trade. Had salad (no dressing) and mussels for starters, nothing special although my wife always enjoys fresh mussels so at least she was happy with the starter. Canât say an over cooked piece of asparagus had any place on my salad, but apparently they thought different. Mains was rabbit from the grill (nothing special according to my wife), and a rump steak that wasnât a rump steak. Probably an error in translation to English (although it was also wrong in both German and French). Rump doesnât have a bone in it, this was a bone-in sirloin, that was very rare when I specifically asked for medium. I sent it back, and it returned with the original sides (that were now very cold). Lots of smokers either side of us added to our woes, some of them âinterestingâ clientele to say the least. We will not return, despite the friendly service from a Latvian lady, and the reasonable prices and good wine.

The service was good. Small amount of food. I had the stuffed cod and it was not much. The visual of the fish head on the plate was interesting way to serve.

This is the mediterranean place one looks for when travelling the Costa. Great food, fairly priced, friendly (english speaking) staff in a nice terrace setup (or inside). What a location to share food with family and friends. We decided to return this week and enjoy this new restaurant again. Do make reservations as the place is already popular.(Oh, and they do have fantastic mojito's)Dear MRE007,Many thanks for your kind words! We are very pleased to learn that you enjoyed your visit.
